Honestly in the previous chapters I was confused but now it makes sense. It's actually very realistic to feel that way. As someone who has no dating experience whatsoever and doesn't understand how could someone love the little pathetic me, it makes sense that he wants reassurance. He's even more sensitive that he looks and he feels that he doesn't deserve to be loved. That's why he was so cold to him. Pretending that you don't have feelings for the other person so you can protect yourself huh. This couple feels like what a real couple would go through. They're probably gonna be working together on some stuff,this is very sweet
