If you want something that fits snuggly into your expectations right from the get-go, try "I am NOT Starfire". Unfortunately, what you're complaining about is literally right in the synopsis, title, and it's what the characters reiterate immediately in the first few chapters.

The prince does have a disability, physically and mentally (sounds like DID). Some people do not enjoy their physical disabilities and would do whatever they could to get rid of it. Others accept it and are overjoyed.

I think you need to chill and get rid of your expectations for this manga if you want to enjoy it.

I and many others have the EXACT same concerns and dislikes of this type of manhua. And it's a reflection of a wider issue in general society, but more specifically East Asian society.

The general ableist ideas and fatphobic are offensive. And common. Too common. Like 1 out of every 4 is the exact same storyline with the exact same issues.

Now I'm a lover of isekai and reincarnation themes, but I could definitely do without the fatphobic and ableist ideals constantly coming up.

It's exhausting. Whether you actually read the story or not. Just glimpsing the synopsis and seeing how many people enjoy it is disheartening.

And disabled and chronically ill people exist. To suggest criticism can't occur because it's 'Chinese culture' suggests that disabled people suddenly matter and exist once societal treatment finally positively treats us. It doesn't work like that. Cultural relativism rarely works well when used as an excuse to justify the erasure of marginalised groups.

I don't care about your anecdotal evidence. I really do not. Because one person's experience should not have to alter everything else for everyone. I get it— there are people who deviate from the beauty standard. But the most prevalent beauty standard gets plastered on magazines and sold out quicker than you can say "Americans all all white."

Criticizing something is fine. But when you're critiquing the entire basis for the plot (literally plastered in every corner of the page) instead of, I dunno, the other elements in the story such as character development, setting, and more, then it's kind of redundant.
The character did not want to be fat, anyways, and that's her decision.

Well yeah Chinese ppl view beauty as slimness. There’s not many people who are overweight in China, so any ppl that are are looked down on. It’s def something that should change but I don’t think that change will happen anytime soon. This isn’t only in China but also in places like Japan and India.

Yesss!!! It was the same with the angel story. After a while it just gets so exhausting to read even though the actual plot is interesting.

It's a shame. Like I feel I at least understood enough to get what's going on in the chapter but I don't think I know enough to fully understand the story as a whole. It's like she writes the story as if it is set in a world we're all familiar with.
I hope she will explain more things later on but looking at her previous work, I'm afraid I'll end up getting frustrated and drop it as well.

The manwha didn't actually mention that they are all after her romantically, only Dowon seems to like her genuinely and all the other guys only like her for her dominance and sadistic tendencies. I agree with her ex and Dorim. I feel like the stuff with her ex were just really forced, and Dorim really deserves better. I don't have any sympathy for her childhood friend tho. He knows her for a long time, he knows that she isn't interested in anything romantic with him and that she sees him as a friend and a sex partner only. If he isn't okay with it he should leave, but he chooses to stay knowing it, and then pulls manipulative shit like what he did in her past relationship. Of course the cheating is on her, he might have manipulated her but she did what she did out of her own free will. But still, his behavior was gross and so out of line. She made her boundaries clear with him. She should've made all her boundaries very clear from the other guys, but she never hidden the fact that she is using other guys and that she isn't interested in romance, they're all very aware of each other and are still staying. Besides her childhood friend no one really has a reason to be too attached to her. I don't think she is just a girl with a dildo tho, I do enjoy the sexual bits and the plays.

Ah I was in a angry mood when I wrote the review. Tbh while I agree her childhood friend is messed up, literally in one of the first scenes of the story, she initiates sex with him but coldly leaves him after her friend calls her. And after she gets mad at him for trying to protect her from the stalker because she misunderstands, he offers himself as a pet just to be able to talk to her again I felt it was kinda messed up. Even if he tempted her, she chose to cheat on her boyfriend, her ex didn't break up because of the texts but since she cheated on her. Her friend can't be solely blamed, instead of avoiding him, she convinently uses him for her needs. What's worse is blaming her ex for cheating on him. Her self righteousness was kinda annoying.

Also, sadistic beauty is not that great either but this manwha has an absurd plot - she accidently slept with a guy one night so to make up for it sleeps with all the guys who seem suspicious?? Why sleep with guys she finds shady? Atleast this is only absurd, once this plot ends, it's just grooming Dorim and raping her ex. If you find nice stories about sadistic women ping me too, I haven't found any good ones either. (Sensual M is kinda alright I guess)
