Why did the author decide to not have him be Diablo's reincarnation if he has like half of his soul and his memories and feels the emotions of those memories he's basically him. Now because of this revelation the other characters don't hold as much weight because they actually have nth to do with the current him it's just his power, this was a very unnecessary plot point and it lessens the impact of the story cs you can look at it as not being his fight anymore since he's not Diablo instead of him coming back to exact vengeance. His whole motivation for wanting to kill the gods in the first place was because he thought he came bk to finish his life's goal. This was not the end I was expecting for S4, feels shitty.

bcs he doesnt have his full soul, so he isnt diablo. jamie was created by diablo even. while it is true he has half of diablo soul and memories, but in the end that's it, they are a different individual with the same memories. and we already now that diablo cant get out of that darkness, even tho he's gaia's contactee, so he make jamie instead. it's better than the real diablo can get out off darkness just for the plot, that will just look he's so strong bcs of the plot (author's will), not bcs he's a human and need to stuggle. this plot also used so many times in many stories btw, one of them was in the game i play called "genshin impact" where god died and make a new version of herself from the same source of her birth for the next cycle (samsara)

to make things clear, in original webtoon english translate, it said
"i impart half of my soul into the future" - diablo
"the will pf diablo volpir and gaia gave birth to me... jamie welton" - jamie
"i may be not a complete reincarnation of diablo volpir..." - jamie.
so yeah basically, since jamie is only half of diablo's soul, he isnt diablo. bcs with only half, you cant make a full person, thus jamie is a new life and personality created by diablo using half of his soul with his and gaia's will (the reason jamie REALLY wants to slay the gods) , then implated his memories to jamie (which make jamie even MUST to slay the gods and hates them since he was born). and that's also why he loves his family tho diablo already try to erased his feelings for 66.666 years lol, bcs jamie isnt him, all of his thoughts about "im emotionless" are just a planted memories by diablo

My theory from reading this is they were in a relationship in high school some kid found out about them because they were being careless thus the rumors then for some reason mc blames ml in the name of immaturity and self-preservation. I also think pado is kinda trying to entrap mc like 'I want u so I'm going to make u can't live without me' type thing, it's either that or the 'I'm gonna make u love me then break u like u broke me' type of vibe got this idea from the sister saying he's Obsessive plus her little flashback about when she first met him. The timeline thing I'm really curious about because when we first see him it's his 4th time trying to get into the uni but after that it's his 2nd try(hmm) plus he knows way more ppl,etc

Imo I think the author never intended to add romance but wanted to attract romance readers so they just threw smth in and took it out when they were finished, because why would u have them being so sweet together
then add that BS plot point about her losing emotions because she's a god completely taking her choice away. I genuinely felt bad when i saw Axion begging to be killed, he didn't deserve that. It would've been more impactful if you made her war with herself over the decision to either complete her wish and kill herself after resetting everything or come back to life for Axion, instead of that no emotions because I'm King thing. Also like i understand Torzo's motivation but cordelia's mom's motivation made no sense not to mention Axion's mom she wasn't even necessary all she did was introduce them which could be done by any other evil character

Atp I've deluded myself into thinking of Ian and brian as rebirth and not reincarnation since that's what the og dragon called it. Isn't reincarnation same soul and different body but Ian and Brian are literally the same just different hair color. Think of the prime minister for example he has his memories and hes basically the same as he was in the past. The problem with ian is that he didn't have his memories right from the get go. So im just gonna think of Ian as someone who has amnesia. When he gets his memory back he will have some aspects of his personality back but the present will also shape him as well, if that makes sense ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Ngl I feel bd for the emperor like ik that what he did to the fl was bad but he didn't cause her any physical damage and he was literally under dark magic he wouldn't have done what he did otherwise and even then he was fighting it because he couldn't bring himself to let go of the Mc. Not to mention while in a fragile mental state he's told that his enemy and the enemy of his love has sent a doppelganger of his lover to trick him like why would he not be angry and confused. Not to mention he was good to the Mc this whole time and if not for the magic he would've continued to do so, that y I'm not being so hard on him. But on the other hand I don't appreciate the fl being dragged around every which way she didn't ask for any of this and it's upsetting to see.
