FL finds out it was the duke who was sent to her. She feels upset and she runs to the garden. She falls asleep in the garden and gets sick. She has a fever, meanwhile when the duke finds out he gets mad at one of his knights for not finding the FL. The knight tells the Duke that he wants to propose to FL after the duke and FL divorce. Duke gets upset and says he's not going to divorce FL. Duke finds out the Emperor approved the divorce and that FL's father wants FL to return so she can be remarried. Duke gets upset and hopes that FL will send another invitation. After FL gets better from fever she goes to the lady and reveals she knows who the guy in the mask was. FL says she wants to see him one last time. FL and Duke do it but FL is dom this time and leaves in the morning. Duke is devasted and is unable to eat properly and looks like a mess. Later they track the FL down since she pawned off the wedding ring. FL was going to someone else's wedding and the knight tries to propose to her but the duke arrives and punches the knight. When the bride threw the bouque it was the duke that caught it and tries to propose to FL and says he's sorry, FL accepts... and then there's an epilogue.
(the whole story is around 10 chapters so the story is almost over)
