The asking to sit near her with misty eyes...it made me teary too. Also not them claiming they were cheating on each other. Lol They too silly!
It happened sooner then I thought and I love that I got to see father and son sharing a drink happily. Also Haon really does look similar to his mom like I said before. I'm glad we got to see a snippet of her. Dad recognizing their relationship at the end and Haon being embarrassed by it was too cute. Also author-san has clear favorites. Lol Why everyone that Papa asked about Haon too, would only acknowledge how hot Rigon is! Like it's true, that man is hotter then hell, but gramps at the end ain't have to play Haon toward the end by saying he not quite handsome. Lol Haon is handsome, beautiful, cute, and sexy!! I dare you look me and Rigon in the eyes and tell us he ain't! ヽ(`Д´)ノ
So many handsome megane-kuns, cute animals, bashful buggos, and a plot that ain't try to kill me with death and angst. I am here for it!!
Alot of people hate Haon's father, but I don't. You can't deny the he was emotional withdrawn from Haon, or that he was rarely around, but Haon brought up a point in the words he chose to swallow. That if his father was lonely after his wife/slash mother died, why couldn't they mourn together? Why did he push Haon away? Mourning a love one is alot to overcome. Even when you have nobody but yourself to look after, just day to day coping can be a struggle. Adding a child into the mix makes things harder. You have to remain in a headspace where even if you don't feel like it, you have to make sure the child is taken care of, and you can scream all day "Well that child didn't ask to be there. It's the parents responsibility to be there through thick and thin. Haon was mourning too."
And while all that is true it does not change the fact that coping with death is different for everyone. Haon's mother passed and his father put all connection and emotions on the back burner. He made sure Haon had peers, teachers, clothes, food, and just about anything else to keep a child engaged, but kept his interactions with his son to a minimum. Question? Did anyone else notice that Haon's resemblance to his father isn't that big? That more than likely means he looks more like his mother. Looking and caring for your son that looks like your deceased wife may not have been easy for his dad.
The part that I love the most about this and his father, is also the saddest piece. The regret he fell into when he lost everything and if you read the last chapter you realize everything for Haon's father was not even the academy. Cause if Haon had stayed gone, he wouldn't have even touched it. Everything was Haon. His only son and last piece of his wife. Even with Haon alive the regret and guilt doesn't go away because facts are he was a disconnected parent, but from present forward he can at least try to be better and that's what I love. That he is trying and not being high-handed about it. Haon doesn't have to forgive him, you can't undo what's been done, but I can hope continuous effort on the father's part brings at least the occasional visit and drinking session.
He married his whole alliance. Lol My man literally said until death do we part.
I am so glad she doesnt seem scared of him. I didn't know how I would feel if after trying for a year to get better she was still scared of him and felt depressed afterwards. Watching her eyes go watery at the sight him gave me the fluffy feeling. Hopefully the author won't get too angsty with us~
My guy was out here thinking his sex game is strong, only to get called a personified dildo. Lol If you finna be pushy about sex, you at bare minimum gotta be good at it. Hopefully now he will slow is roll and pay attention to how Sanho is feeling.
This was a hot googly mess of stress. Not one set of parents were decent. Not one. I'm not even gonna hold it against Yoon and Jung's mom, but the other 4 of them, just into the trash they go. Yoon's father I consider just BARELY recyclable. Characters with horrid backstories that lead to despicable behavior always leave me so mad because I always think of the flipside. What would they be like if they had decent loving parents? That AU side gave me the glimpse I usually have to think up myself and a smiling and chuckling Jung is all I will ever need. He still looked a little melancholy about his unrequited love, but that beautiful man looked like he was living his best life in a healthy way. Ugh, glad I finished it, but this was a rough read for me. I won't say it wasn't good, it was just rough~
It is true that violence breeds violence and that there are consequences to every action. My problem is that the other gang chose violence first when they beat up Ao's father and then chose it again when they kept Asuka and Asahi around to protect themselves by kidnapping Ao and almost raping him. I'm honestly not sure how much talk and negotiating they would be willing to do since it wasn't their first option to begin with. Sometimes violence to breed fear and respect is a necessary thing in the yakuza world, but Ao is not from that world. He and his family are a loving and non-confrontational bunch. They lived like that their whole life. They have no means of protection if things go south especially being herbivore, and you can say well Asuka can help, but yakuza have there own politics and Asuka is still a youngling. Not to mention Asuka is really from the next town over. This isn't really even his turf, he could honestly really be starting a war that his family may or may not be able to finish seeing as they are just getting back on their feet really. It's a shitty situation either way. I don't find Ao annoying though, the author really has them between a rock and a hard place and I'm not really sure what they want the answer hereto be: Having Asuka find alternative non-violent ways to deal with the opposing gang, or having Ao realize that if he wants to be with Asuka violence as a means for protection isn't violence for violence sake.
This whole male dorm is wholesome as hell. Like every single friend is supportive and cool. They like to tease, but keep it light. I find it funny, but love how they all really attended the male x male lesson Miya gave even though most of them are hetero. That they left with understanding, but that again no one made rude marks or comments. Hell! Even the other school that was at the camp with them were nice and accepting. This whole story is a vibe and ride I am here for~
The artist definitely has a thing for sexy/lovable demons and I am here for it!! Keep it coming, baby. I didn't know I needed Halle in demon form, but it can't be any other way now. Also the fact that they left the glasses after he demonized is a chef kiss~
-I happen to like the art. Both seme and uke gave off a wild feel when upset or irritated, and I loved that. Their overall demeanor was very sharp and rough, but the contrast of the crying and blush faces made things cute.
-The overall story left left alot to be desired, but I like how the character were portrayed to a certain extent. I loved how I felt the sporadic up and down of their emotions and actions as they are still young and don't have complete control of them yet. They have to be about 19-24 years old, and though we hold people around that age accountable for there decisions and actions as "adults", if you been that age or are that age you know that you didn't really feel to much more adult like or mature then when you were in high school. Emotion still run high, and wrong decisions and action can be made in a snap around that age still and that literally is apart of growing up. The uke antagonzing the seme to get his way about him returning to judo, the seme in high emotion daring him blow him if he lost. The uke once again antagonizing and goading the seme to just fuxk him, even though he knows it is first time, the seme falling for the antagonization instead of rationalizing after seeing how tight the uke was. The seme being mad at the mobs for talk shit about the uke and in frustrated tapped down anger accidently hurting the opponent. Not wanting the uke to be the center of any gay rumors, so instead of little brushing of question about them being together, he decide to day that a relationship with the uke would be nauseating to make sure to kill that piece of the conversation, not taking into consideration the uke would be hurt. We all know that there were much better way to handle things, but I like the reflection of their immaturity.
I love that the seme was honest about who he was with, even if he didn't clarify where specifically they were going. To many times "who are you with? Or where are you?" is answered with a straight up lie of "No one. Or Work/home." to not worry the partner, only for them to find out a half truth later leading to a misunderstanding. If the uke had actually happened to bump into them, he would have seen exactly what the seme stated, and would maybe just be worried about why they were together only to find out later and be okay to know it was for his birthday, versus the seme telling him I'm going out to a work dinner or home because I'm feeling a bit tired and sick and the uke catching him out during the little birthday surprise with the girl co-worker. Now he has to plead his case about lying, how he wasn't cheating, this, that, and the third. It is such an over used plot driver. Honesty is policy~
They are 5 years apart and didn't even start anything remotely sexual until about 6 months away from the seme being a high school graduate and beginning college student. They were friends before they were teacher and student, and they were teacher and student for a max of like a year!! And let us be honest, if your childhood friend became a teacher at your school and you know you'll be graduating in a year, there is no way you are seeing them in an authoritative light. You are more then likely gonna follow the rules because you respect that they need to be professional at their job and you don't want to make them look bad, but they are definitely not giving you the same feel a normal teacher you know as ONLY a teacher would.
High school graduation age in Japan is 18, meaning the seme was just end of 17 years old beginning 18 years old before they even met up again and the uke was around 22 to 23 years old. What are y'all reaching for? Did anyone see the uke make an inappropriate move on the seme when he was younger? I didn't. There wasn't even the weird clip of the older childhood friend finding he was sexually attracted to the younger one when they were smaller and mastrabating before freaking out and then running away without saying anything. Even if they both realized they had feeling when they were younger, it was cleanly done with the uke exiting with the excuse for college and coming right back when the seme was of approiate age. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with this age gap. The story was good, compared to a shitload of others. If you don't like it fine, but let's not inflate things that really aren't a problem~
I am glad the uke is for the hot and cold mess because I am not~ lol I am seeing the character development, but the hot and cold responses and actions are giving me whiplash.
Brill is stupidly gorgeous! When he smiled at Roxant, I swear I melted. Max you son of a gun you better put a ring on it my guy!!
I understand that there are people that prefer bottoming and people that prefer topping, but why can we get more switches? I think this would have been the perfect manga to do that. Like having the semi become a better lover now that he has bottomed himself and the uke enjoying it more, and then the semi realizing that he is craving being on the receiving end giving the uke equal opportunity to love on him. Like the story is not bad, but it could have been so much better. Manga universe I demand more Seki dammit!!! ヽ(`Д´)ノ
I feel like some of yall are reaching for nothing. The dress scene is to show us Cedrics growing feelings and small bouts of jealous. "Well if he doing all that now, what will he do later?" How about we wait until later to find out before we condemn him? Cedric is a fine ML. Okay, so he doesn't have a grasp on human nature things. My dude is trying. He is not out here with the woe is me attitude not even trying to understand or listen to Dalia. He's protective and a little jealous. Yes, jealousy can breed deeper darker feelings and emotions, but I ain't reaching for what I have yet to see. Dahlia letting him change her dress is also her adjusting to her changing feelings. If yall wanna fight with your date about showing your back by all means, but that is not gonna be a issue for everyone. I could see if he zipped up her back and then called her something along the lines of "attention seeking" as a verbal stab, but none of that happened. This dress scene isn't suppose to be that deep. "He's controlling." "She's a push over." Listen, regardless of how hard you are projecting your real world situations on them, about maybe know a controlling man or being or knowing a pushover that makes you upset, there is a 99.999% chance this story is gonna have a happy end. The "controller" will marry the "pushover" and they will be happy. The plethora of these miniscule negative comments are one of the reasons I enjoyed the comment section being disabled. Some of yall complain about the smallest things.
I swear I would have been a whole other problem in this story because the minute he let me go thinking I was cool I would have killed that bitxh. Trying to kill my child because greedy shit ain't going your way?! Go plead your woes to Jesus in the upper room, since that's where I'm finna send your ass!! See if your ass ain't instant transmissioned straight into hell! Woooo! It could not be me~ (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
