Ok the summary of the story does not do it justice. This is actually a pretty interesting story. I like the FL. I don’t know here this will end and while I feel like really bad for the villainess, I’m sorry but she needs mental help. Her backstory is tragic but it doesn’t excuse her evil actions.
I lost track of this one when the art style changed for the third time but also the plot also went a bit messy? I kinda miss the vibe from the beginning chapters lol

Finally the plot is going somewhere. I haven’t finished reading the novel. I have been waiting to see where the webtoon goes. I’ve heard they’re a bit different but looking forward to this version!

Shin really be the biggest obstacle between him and the King. Like for real. I say this is the perfect time to end the Golden rule and they can adopt a child or something the same way the Duke did with the purple haired guy. Like they can remove that outdated tradition and anyone with different hair color can rule. I understand he wants the King to have more allies and marriage was a common way to do that but my boy Shin really out here making things more complicated that they should. 2 seasons of that. This is getting annoying!!

2 possible alternative solutions:
-They could give royal status for the step-siblings and put them on the line of sucession. Crisis ended.
-Or if they wanna take the difficult route: fake a marriage, and wait for one of his step siblings with the same hair color/eye color have a child, and adopt them

Those are both great solutions! Yeah I think it’s the author creating drama here for sure. Maybe the King will suggest something new. He does seem tired of traditions. Shin seems like the one who keeps reverting to them but it makes sense after all that trauma.

To those who are reading ahead, I’m on Chapter 5 and I dislike the ML already. Idk who wrote this but it’s very violent towards women right off the bat with threatening with sexual violence and beheading against the female characters.
Does this get any better? Let’s just say the first impression of the story has been terrible and the ML is trash at first impression. (╬￣皿￣)凸

Nuuuuu just when it was getting good. I feel so bad for her. Besides the body guard, no one else deserve to be with her. Least of all the brothers. Can’t wait to read the continuation. I might just read the novel since the story is interesting!
Is it me or I’d rather see the alternative story??? Like the roles reversed would have made this a lot better in my opinion. Still looking forward to the new chapter!

Is it just me or are the twins mentality not of 23 year olds? Like they’re way too trusting and naive. Now they have a lot of trauma and distrust for obvious reasons but why would they believe that Duke for no reason. Either way I like the story and characters. I hope they’re able to reconcile with the Emperor soon!

remember that they died when they were 16-17. they also weren’t exposed to much of the outside world except for the abuse they experienced are they’re old home. they obviously went through some traumatic stuff and if I were then I’d also act like that
Yeah that’s true. They might have reverted mentally to when they were younger. You see glimpses of maturity in them but then they also very naive like children. I do like the story. The Emperor and the Princes are very cute. I just want them to accept them and be happy!
