i think that event caused some sort of trauma in both of them. haesoo is insecure and doesnt trust people. he feels guilty easily and gives in to joowon’s needs. he doesnt seem completely comfortable with sex and sees it as more of a releas/coping method than an act of love. joowon is controlling and constantly worried he’s losing haesoo. he also struggles with moving on from haesoo, and seems almost dependent on him? like haesoo wants to be free from joowon but joowon needs haesoo and cant settle for anybody else.
