the way this will top any shounen ai out there (for me), grandpa apologizing to huan wen felt so warm, the way he considers his feelings and just apologizing bc he doesnt know whats up w huan wens generation, i wish all old people can be this considerate <3 and yuan never fails to make me fall in love w him even more, and same goes w huan wen and literally any character in this manhwa, every chapter is worth the wait and tears, i love this sm <3
but i do hope it wont take them 90 chapters to fall in love and b canon unlike yuyang and lihuan, either way tho this is so good for the heart

in the anime i came to hate some characters because i never rly got to see more of them, but in the manga, not even 10 chapters in im already sobbing hard, i rly fucking appreciate how wonderfully written this is, i didnt even hate a single character but rather found myself in them, especially ishida, i aleady struggled w the same shit as him but the manga covered a lot, i felt called out when ishida was describing himself, the manga covers so much more and ill reread this again! im not saying the anime isnt worth watching bc its also great, watching it abt 5 times a year is a tradition for me, that movie never fails to make me cry and the manga is just, its so much more holy shit i love it so much.
