Hey don't you think the priest is wierd how can a person not listen to a person who is just standing there ?? It feels like he will spell trouble

Nah bro ya can chill on that. That priest don't play any role other than what you have seen in this chapter. It was sort of described in the novel that the priests who take care of such vows are like this unable to hear or see things related to vows that they are in charge of. As for how they are able to? IDK. Perhaps they are a special category of priests among the normal ones?

Yeah that's that I assumed. There were two different priests. The one who led them into the room and talked and the silent one who just did the ritual and wrote the instructions on the table. The one in the room with them when they were talking was the deaf one. The priest who spoke to them at the end of the chapter was the one who led them down there.
Why do I think that all that rebellion and all is planned by the emperor ? I mean he does seem weird and then he did it in the end he chained him up.....I have mixed feelings about it
Kinda felt that was the plan. When they were escaping, coincidentally the only safe path is to the Empire he resides in. Plus, I kinda had a feeling that he’s a kind of yandere given that he can instantly recognize which is which by just a gut feeling. And that was on the first chapters. I suspect the turning point is that supposed one night stand. He got what he wanted but wanted more. He restrained himself on the third day but he’s not satisfied by that. And at the festival, too. If the emperor was actually searching for him, military/soldiers’ appearance would be much more frequent given that they’re searching for him while they are against time. But they were too relaxed. Given how I am pretty sadomasochistic, I think I can sense these type of people at this point. (=・ω・=)
