i feel like it was a dream?? bc the end when it had the buzz buzz it made me think it was an alarm going off, so i think the guy dreamed of dating the girl, sara, but in actuality it was jsut a dream and all that never happened or he actually died idk i'm tryna convince myself he's ok at this point¯_(ツ)_/¯
The buzzing was the noise of the cicadas, im guessing. At the end there was a panel of a bird eating a cicada/roach type looking insect so I think it was just symbolism for the jarring realization kicking in for him. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
