I like the fact the characters have depth
Maybe cos I like some good ol’ psychological shit
But like in real life no one is going to have a 100% perfect streak or are they gonna make the right choices.
And I like how instead of choosing one person’s story and being like ‘yeah das it’, they reveal parts of Yoseob by everyone’s telling. By getting the view of Jaeha’s idea of Yoseob compared to Taeoh gives us the grasp of people’s twisted views. I know it’s not the only series, but it does it well non-the-less.
Sure the actions are exagerrated in senses, but it’s a manhwua. You can’t expect stories to just be as interesting or developed without these exagerrations.
And having flucuating opinions on characters acts like real life too. The more we learn about someone the more we come to be a ke to sympathise with them and also learn their flaws. Tell me any of you if you’ve always had the same ‘yes these people are perfect’ views of someone after learning their whole story.
I reeaalllyyy like Karam, it’s so cute the MC just pining.
But I feel like Junseo would flirt with Jaewon even as Jaewon likes Karam.
But I like the more responsible, kind and respectful (plus totally oblivious) characters better as popular and dominating characters sorta have worn out my tastes.
But anyway I’m rooting for ya Karam!(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
also I lowkey ship mole this is so gay omigod you are so gay, fuck you all. im gay, your gay, we’re all gay. and you. steve. are the gayest helper with used to be homhobic but madeup redhead but alas those might just be dreams ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I personally love this story and the execution of it.
Sometimes Im a bit confused but otherwise. Like it's really good and emotional, but most Korean Web Comics are really good.
Whilst some may say it's cliche I think it isn't. Like ex-lover tropes are common, but it's like the whole plot of this series, not just a one chapter problem. And it actually developes/developed the characters interestingly. It's not a simple 'say I love u' fix as far as I can tell.
Also Im a slut for dead/hurt exlovers
Argh my heart was filled with so much fluffy emotions from ikeda being adorable to Onishi being an important friend.
I feel like the mangaka didn't allow the story go to it's full extent, i.e. the side characters were a bit forgotton at the end.
But it's really important to remember that love in a friendship is so fucking strong. Not every story has to be about guys boning eachother. Nor that a girl and a guy always has to be a couple (yes Miu was lowkey obsessed with ishida but a relationship wasnt formed)
I think that if the Mangaka decided to make a spin off series that would be awesome; and id personally love to see the story of any other characrer.
Tbh I wanna see some bdsm play with MD (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Guilty pleasure though ( ̄へ ̄)
