Of course people are here first and foremost to read the story (the memes are a bonus). It does not mean that we do not appreciate the translators and their hard work. But if they are not going to upload this story anymore (at least not here), of course people would want someone else to pick it up. It is truly sad that the translators choose to stop uploading, even if it is understandable. But I at least, and I think many more, hope to be able to continue reading the story here.

I do think we kinda deserve the translators dropping the uploads here (if they both decide to), I wouldnt want to put hard work into translating and uploading and then see it add up to bitching in the comments about ”the translators problems”, though most of us surely appreciate the translations (and memes). But the negativity is so much louder! I hope the translators know this.
True! But I still think the positive and thankful response is bigger than the negative one. Well, the whole situation is unecessary and sad. When people like the ”new” uploader refuses to back off and ruin things for the rest of us, when some people does not appreciates the hard work of others… I just hope that the original translators know that we appreciate their work and in a ”dream world” we would like them back.
I think you guys misunderstood the sitch. The whole problem started when a random person "not-you" -- who's currently uploading -- stole the translation of Scan Beans and started posting here. Shoira (meme translators) we're throwing shade at the thief who stole the scans without permission. Then it got big.
In the meantime, NotYou is still uploading stolen scans, deleting comments calling him out in his page, and just happily skipping along not getting any consequences.
So really, it wasn't the scanlator who are being negative here, they actually left Mangago bec of the unnecessary drama.
