taku is literally so sweet to haesoo,,, why do y'all hate him so much damnnn
I think it comes from attachment to character, because the audience knows a lot more about Joowon, he knew Haesoo for a long time, and can relate to his personal struggles and even possibly his mistakes. It's very interesting to read other peoples' opinions on him! Plus, if I hadn't already liked Taku from the start, I would think that he gives off weird vibes because of his facial expressions. (that's just an assumption though)
recently cut off a 6 year relationship. They were defiantly caring but some off their behaviour was similar to Joowoo. They had been my best friend for years and new so much about me and it broke my heart to cut off all ties but in the end it was the right choice. I'm still kinda hurt and i know they are too. I realised the reason i stuck around despite the negative baggage was because i knew they cared and 6 years is a long time but it was just becoming to toxic. I honestly think thats why im team Taku. It's a messy situation but honestly if i was him id go for Taku even if im not sure if he truly cares because even though my past relationship was stressful going back IS NEVER worth it. Thats real life though and this is a webcomic so i can see why people wouldn't compare them to real values.
I agree with you 100%. If the people who are team Jowoon had a friend that was in Haesoo’s situation they would tell their friend to break it off asap because in real life that shit is not gonna slide. Haesoo really needs time to himself, he should travel or something and make FRIENDS because it seems like he has NONE! Also I am happy you had the strength to remove yourself from a toxic relationship, wish you the best!
i rlly loved this manga sm. i'm so sad that it stopped right before musashi arrived at kokura, but i understand that the author is having a hiatus, it's not easy keeping up with the ambitious and intricate art.
musashi's character is truly so lovable. from the first volumes – where he's beastly, wild and merciless. to later on, where he begins to find peace and understanding. i think the first turning point was definitely with inshun, but the most important one was the battle against the 70 yoshioka men. not only was it heavily influencing musashi's state of mind, but due to ueda's cut at his calf, he almost had to give up the sword.
i think this turning point really awoken something within musashi, by this time kojirou was on his mind too. and that's another beautiful aspect to this manga, kojirou's character. all that he has is the sword, nothing else. and because of this fact, he's extremely skilled. he's like flowing water, and musashi strives to become like that too.
this is another thing i really loved, musashi's and kojirou's connection with nature. kojirou grew up by the beach, close to the water. but musashi grew up in the mountains, wild and untamed. they're like two halves of one.
some other comments about this manga:
seijuro was so misunderstood by the yoshioka, he deserved way better and tbh he needed a more screentime imo.
i love musashi's relationships w the old men, like their interactions are so wholesome and heartwarming.
matahachi is a crybaby bitch lol, jk i love him.
and finally, musashi sweetie pls shave i miss ur bare face.
i could literally go on forever about how much i enjoyed this manga lol.
p.s: rip seijuro my fav character
