what sucks about stories like this is wasted potential. this story had the potential to be incredibly interesting because the characters are actually… not inherently boring!
the plot is a little recycled but it’s still very enjoyable. but the story progression and writing just… make no sense! there are so many plot holes and sometimes the characters are so inconsistent.
idk, maybe it’s an error because of the translation, but i feel like this makes me so upset simply because the premise is good. and it’s wasted here.
i read this a LOOOONG time ago when i found out the red haired guy (forgot his name- but i rlly liked him) was being forced into sex with the other guy which led me to drop the story. but i heard the story is really good now and has a lot of character development and plot progression. do you guys recommend it? does it have any more r*pe? thank you!! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
i don’t like that they stopped making her slay and covered her tits up like … what was so vulgar about that? she looked hot and beautiful and not like a literal child. she’s a woman, so she has a woman’s body. she was slaying with jewellery on her. why sew that to hide her beautiful body? what’s up with this “i’m so modest uwu” character arc that authors bestow badass villainesses. that’s why “Asmodian’s Contract” and “Today the Villainess has Fun Again” are so good! The women don’t CARE about how the men perceive them because they’re MORE than just a man. I really like this FL and i think she’s got SO MUCH potential. i’m just sad that they had to stop her from being a girl boss.
ALSO THE STUFF ABT HER AND REESE HAVING A DIFFERENT BEAUTY?? im sorry but reeze looks like a literal teenager compared to Edith... Edith doesn't have a "sexy beauty" shes just a fully grown woman. Like they really make Reeze look like a teenager in panels (especiallly with how they dress her, with historical dresses only young girls wear dresses that short)
i get it. i’m not saying that. i’m talking about the author themselves. i just think that modest = good and immodest = evil is a very popular trope. the male lead even calls her a ‘whore’ and ‘slut’ in the book and in the webtoon he holds a prejudice against her just because she’s curvaceous. i get it that in plot it makes sense, but i don’t know why that plot was even added.
Idt that is true. In this story atleast, the original image that Edith had was that she wore sexy clothes anr seduced men. And that is actually true from what we know after the FL got Edith'd previous memories. Her father made her dress provocatively and seduce people for information. The only to start changing that image was to change her clothes. And its common for people to change the way they dress, do their hair and make up to suit the image they want to project and change their image in other's eyes. So its not illogical. And its not like author is going modest=good and immodest=evil. It just makes sense to do it the way it happened in the story. Also, the original image of Edith is all her husband knows about her. So its not wrong of him to assume that she would pull that on him either. He just thinks he is right to put her in her place and let her know her tricks won't work on him bc he knows how she did to others. Also, don't forget the ML's are thoughts are being controlled by the system but he still managing to find the discrepancies in her image on his own.
low-key i was rooting for diana to be good … rip … another evil woman for no good reason.
Honestly I couldn’t see her being a good person even during the beginning, and we see her reasoning for being an “evil” woman. The girly is delusional and quite literally sees herself as a special being and that’s why everyone should listen and love her.
I don’t really see her as evil or he’ll even a villainous(she’s too dumb for that) she’s just a naïve narcissist who’s bout to get a reality check while losing her powers which I wouldn’t be surprised are due to her own stupidity
