Honestly, I definitely understand why everyone here is mad. I was too, but look, I get what happened in the mc’s head,( it’s like being in a prison and finding someone who is as much of a prisoner as you, singling out every distraction and they just become your world ) and with the ml backstory it just makes sense with his personality. The red head guy, just made it so the ml will be obsessed with the mc, he put the interest in him, and from then on, with the life the mc was living, the ml just assimilated, his own situation and the mc’s, finding companionship that doesn’t exist, hence why in his sick head (idk if it’s a lack of teaching about human emotions or if he just has autism) this was all an okay situation. This is just how I see it, after reading this to the end, even though they never went deep in the ml psyche.
