Part of me was hoping Christoph would maybe remember and realize and start crying. Or would secretly know and not tell anyone. Because he could partially resist the brain wash and Cecilia could read his memories so I was thinking that maybe he could resist the memory erasing or that it wouldn’t work on him. I JUST KEPT WAITING FOR HIM TO REMEMBER then it didn’t happen. That’s basically why I read it to the end after *SPOILER*
