It's actually kind of amazing how many shoujo cliches it manages to cram into the first chapter. That being said, I'm sure if you are a fan of romance shoujo manga (judging by the first chapter alone) you'll probably like this. If like me you've read a lot of shoujo manga you may find the cliches just a bit too cliche.....
Is the lines on the characters faces just the way the manga is shaded? It's really, really detracting for them to have tons of lines on their faces in so many scenes. (not every scene, but many more scene than in past chapters)
I think I really enjoy this story better in it's animated form. (I hope it gets a second season) Don't know, I guess it's the mix of music, colors and chill atmosphere that made the anime really nice to watch. Even though this is the same story it still feels different with those added elements.
I figure that this is his way of cooping with the loss and / or he blames his sister for the parents death, but why does he have to be such a major asshole toward his sister? Seriously, she's a child and his sister that he once had a good relationship with, no matter what happened to him she's not going to understand unless he puts it into words. HITTING her it NOT that. Honestly he's just being abusive toward her at this point. (and unless he has a VERY Good reason for being an asshole all this time I don't think I can ever like this character)
and as a follow up before someone says "But he has depression" or something; HE NEEDS HELP. The character needs to get his act together an get help for his depression because he is currently a care giver FOR A CHILD. If he can't then he should find someone that will take care of her and then he can do whatever he wants and let himself heal at his own pace. But as long as he's taking the responsibility to take care of his kid sister he needs to pull himself together. Or, like I said, dump the responsibility onto someone that gives a shit. She's a growing child and needs a stable environment to grow up in, not someone who is not only depression but prone to violent outburst. Yeah, this is not a safe environment for her to be living in, regardless of the reasons.
Ok, I know it's suppose to be emotional and I'm over thinking this whole thing, but the only thing I can think is "Why not just transplant the tree?" I mean, it might not work, the tree might still die from being transplanted, but at least he would have tried. (I mean, he had time to go out there and chop it down, why not take the extra time to attempt to transplant it?)
Omg so true
groot
omg story, I wish that if they were going to ignore March for so long that they would have waited to tell us that she's alive. It's been SIX CHAPTERS ALREADY! Give me some details about what's going on with her already ;_;
