Everything felt so real for me because they made mistakes and they struggled so hard to make it work eventually. It was so painful, it hurt so much for me too when puppy boy got hurt but it also pains me when sunbae was agonizing over what he did.

Eh the only situation I remember the most honestly and that bothered me a lot was the cheating part, it was physical yes but still wrong and just no. I’m talking about Chunwoo fucking with the red head out of anger even though he is with Ho-in and forcing it on the red head as well even though redhead told him to stop.

And in side story apparently I hear he’s still regretful to this day but seme is very kind and assures him.
Honestly no one should be waiting for someone who’s back is turned to you, but this situation I can accept just cause it’s fucking fiction and now that I know that Chunwoo was hurting himself when he cheated physically.
Yeah personally I wouldn't condone cheating either in any form whatsoever. And it's perfectly fine to hate him for it. For me I was fine with the whole situation because Ho-in forgave Chunwoo, it showed how much he loves him and because even irl people can do literally anything and everything for the person they love, it's rare these days ig but it's possible. So that was one of the reasons I like this story. Also for what Chunwoo did, people make mistakes a lot, especially when they were angry and iirc what happened that chapter was briefly. And the fact that he's regretful, it's gonna haunt him for the rest of his life for sure. That's enough to feel bad for him.
At the end of the day, they're just idiots who are in love, and they get to experience strong emotions I actually wish to experience one day but also afraid of it. Ik I sound like an idiot myself lol
If this happened in real life, those who forgive the other person once, that other person will take advantage of your kindness and continue to hide cheating from you. That’s why it’s not acceptable in society, it’s not love if you purposely cheat and continue to do so. True love is hard to get nowadays, it depends on the commitment your heart can keep. But Chunwoo is an exception here because he quickly realized and snapped out of his anger, he did the sex because that’s how he and redhead always solved problems—by having sex, when he realized he didn’t hide it and quickly went to tell Ho-in.
People are free to hate on Chunwoo, but it’s unnecessary to spread hate knowing Chunwoo didn’t mean it. While I also don’t like Chunwoo, I don’t hate him. I hate what he forced on the redhead, it’s dub-con I know, but now that’s in the past.
If Chunwoo does it again cause of his insecurity etc, it’s time to end the relationship and call him a therapist cause free my boy Ho-in unless he wants to let himself be walked over like a doormat. Harsh but it’s the truth, I personally would feel so bad to see someone loving another who doesn’t love back as equally, so I want the best for Ho-in after what Chunwoo did without thinking. And I also want Chunwoo to have higher self esteem one day and be free from the guilt he’s living in (the guilt where he slept with redhead before going to Ho-in who was waiting for him).
I feel like this whole story is okay at best, there are a lot of incoherence at some points, and the plot twists and added tensions are predictable and underwhelming af lmao. But all the fluffs and blushing moments were still making me swoon cuz I'm a sucker.

nah I fully understand where they're coming from but we're 34 chapters in. I've never seen the topic section this aggressive before or I just never paid attention till now. This is gonna be a longer manga than the author's other BJ Alex and quite frankly I'm more curious about the comment section than the story itself now

Honestly same. Sangwoo from Killing Stalking was a literal murderer and I feel like Joo Jaekyung gets more hate than Sangwoo. But I guess people loved BJ Alex so much and are comparing the two and because they had so many positive feelings from BJ Alex that they were expecting the same feelings from Jinx. Also, I feel like Painter of the Night didn't get as much hate as Jinx and they had a similar premise of abusive seme with the poor and naive uke. I really think the BJ Alex comparison and the disappointment of it not being how they turned out is the fuel for more hate than usual.
It’s fiction yea and that’s why for 33 chapters I was like “tf? but okay… let’s see where this goes” however this episode hits very differently. many of us had like a body reaction to it because what he’s doing to Dan (whom the author has fleshed out so well that he comes across as very relatable and likable; and remember people experience the story through eyes of MC) is so fucking repulsive.
