Im happy that he called the mom to fill her in, but damn can they not find a second opinion about his mother's health. And she should have a say even at the cost of her life her son needs to respect that. I think she would feel better knowing they tried to the best of THEIR efforts, rather than taking some hellish deal from some evil person so she could survive.
