I can kinda see from both sides of the argument....

So I'll just focus mainly on the lesbian couple being somewhat not very inclusive of our leads (like yeah they're wanting sperm from Alex but that isn't the inclusive issue I'm pointing out) before I swing at both Alex and Cole ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Here they are going on about how Alex would be the perfect genes for their baby but they really haven't considered the consent of Cole's opinion (I mean yeah I guess essentially your decision is your own and it realistically isn't needed to be conferred upon by your s/o). Doesn't this show that they don't really care what the relationship between the 2 is? Like they only care about getting the sperm but not really what kind of effect it would have on the sperm donor's relation. Really to put it, they're not being very considerate of others, its like only their relationship matters. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

If both parties and each individual in the relationship from both sides are in agreeance, I see no harm in getting sperm from someone in a relationship. However, Cole isn't okay with it and really the final thing comes down to: COMMUNICATION

If Alex doesn't care enough to consider Cole's thoughts and maybe work things out, then isn't it obvious he doesn't care for feelings? And if Cole is out there cheatin cause he can't get some, then ain't he just in it for the bangin?

The latest chapter didn't really say this but does it have to be said? It doesn't but for some who need a little help: Cole's insecurity and thoughts go like this, he can't physically have children but is in a toxic relationship with someone who is clearly showing visual signs that he wants children, as an insecure person, Cole thinks that once Alex has a chance to "have children" (whatever way it be) then Alex will want to leave Cole because Alex will see that having children and offspring are inherently the treasure and meaning to life and thus Cole will be left.

Alex: sees an opportunity to carry on his genes and see a kid that might look like him so why the hell not?

Alex never said he was going to get involved with the child (unless the child wanted it) but his carefree and laid back attitude about it isn't very convincing for someone like Cole who is insecure.

I don't think I got the conclusion to the whole cheating issue but if its as some have said ("Alex just accepts it") then isn't that all a little too concerning in itself? What, he was okay with the cheating? Then at this point does he even really care for Cole anymore? And if Cole was ballsy and horny enough to do it with someone else other than wait for Alex, then are you really smitten with Alex or his bananna?

The way Alex is, he can't give assurance to someone like Cole. And the way Cole is, he can't match Alex's thinking. They both want the other person to understand their way of thinking but they're not even trying to understand or meet halfway on each other's thoughts. It's Alex has to see Cole's way or Cole has to see Alex's way, not Cole sees Alex's way AND Alex sees Cole's way. Cole plays victim and always wants Alex to do what he wants, mainly to stay and indulge in endless sex *rme* (does he have anything else on his mind other than that and blaming Alex when he's living his own life?) and Alex is so shady with his nice personality and all, its just so sus. He doesn't expect much from Cole and gives a lot of space to Cole, to the point that it's hard to pinpoint what his feelings are for Cole.

Alex is that dream guy that has it all, the looks especially. He isn't realistic for someone as insecure and suicidal as Cole. Cole will use the fact that he's insecure and suicidal to either tie someone down or leave that person. Alex's shady as hell and carefree attitude will only serve to make him lose someone or never let him settle down happily. It's said that if you have to change for that person then they aren't worth it, well for Cole and Alex, they better change for their relationship if they want it to be worth.

And that's the swinging and axe-hashin on both parties that are just about equally at fault.
