It's not just thin, the bodies look unhealthily thin. The talk about dieting and how seo jeong (the bottom)'s ex looked was really scary to me at least. The picture of the bodies that showed when he was talking about how his type were thin guys were really bony and looked too thin, like anorexic thin. I know people can be naturally thin but he even said he was on a diet but he's so thin already. This doesn't seem like a healthy skinny, and seeing ribcages and constant talk about bodies and how you like thin guys who look anorexic doesn't seem healthy but korean standards are quite toxic so I could see that.
Hye sung (the top) isn't even fat. He's built just right for his sport and is obviously very healthy. He has good muscles too. It's honestly really uncomfortable to see all the details with the rib cages and thinness of the characters who are 'models' that are super skinny, the bottom, and constant talk about how hye sun is so big.
It's made even more uncomfortable when you see how hard of a time seo jeong has with eating food. Like he literally didn't eat anything except one bite of that lettuce wrap. Even then he said he was on a diet. No wonder he runs to other people when he sees them eat.
I completely agree with you. When I personally was at the height of my eating disorder any and all foods made me sick to my stomach. The fact that smelling food makes him throw up is definitely a symptom of an eating disorder. He might have bulimia, but I’m not very familiar with that type of eating disorder.
I agree, I wonder if the author is going to do something with his unhealthy eating habits or if they really do think the boniness is the same is being slim in a 'normal' manner. Normal as in not anorexic/ed looking. It was a triggering seeing this, I thought it would just be something about self-love and the main story issue being Hye Sung learning that Seo Jeong loves him already and encourages him to be healthy and not diet but the parts previously mentioned make me feel a bit sick (not to sound dramatic but I'm just worried about the characters and even the author if this isn't part of a plotline that's going to address Seo Jeong's body image.)
I think he mentioned something about Hye Sung's body negatively(?), I'm not sure.
What was so uncomfortable too was seeing Seo Jeong with his ex and the way he complained about the stamina of the bony models he would hav s3x/relationships with, their lack of strength, etc. He finds them aesthetically pleasing despite knowing all the downsides he finds in them. Which I could see in normal people too but I think it would be obvious if he thinks about it that seeing ribs and how weak these models are that they're unhealthy and that it's because of their bodies. Which Seo jeong seems to have.
Also how Hye Jung mentioned he could easily break Seo Jeong's body or how delicate it was I believe was strange in this context. I know there's mangas with size difference and strength but again in this context it seems almost self-indulgent of the author to further mention just how skinny and small seo jeong is. He didn't even eat all that much, he felt so nauseous despite how little he ate, his relationship with food doesn't seem good the way he talks about dieting but he mentions how he runs to his friends to eat their food in turn making him think he could get Hye Jung to eat that way.
I know south korea is also full of pressure to fit beauty standards and be skinny, that ed's must be more commonplace there and normalized but even korean models I see online look more muscular despite being thin or at least don't look outwardly/scarily thin (though that isn't an indicator that their bodies are healthy it's more likely that they're at least healthier than the characters/models the author is drawing/showing), that even idols/celebrities who look thin with their ribcages/bones sticking out are met with worried comments from both international and korean public.
There was backlash for an idol showing their weight online that was way too low for her height as she was tall. There are idols talked about for certain bones sticking out even when the photos are unedited so they don't look as bad but definitely still unhealthy. People wonder how these idols have so much energy too. Though again, it is more normalized so even if it's largely known as unhealthy to both international and korean communities there seems to be much more korean people who think it's fine and pretty. I heard it's commonplace for them to comment on how much weight you've gained and telling you to exercise so you're healthy but at the same time having the culture of drinking and eating a lot with colleagues/friends + the mukbangs that I think originated from there.
The s3x is kind of mediocre because of the expressions in Alpha's face. Omega is always crying too! The omega: (˃⌓˂ ) The Alpha: ( ° ʖ °) (¬‿¬)
I like the art but it's lost quality since the first chapter. I think the d1cks kind of look weird to me since the first time they were shown (´д`) I hope the Alpha has a good redemption arc or like the childhood friend is the new love interest somehow. But if not, like now, I wish he will burn in a pile of trash ヽ༼ ಠ益ಠ ༽ノ
I know it's possible for those body parts to be darker and stuff but it just looks really off. Like too dark, sometimes it's drawn too long like realllyyy long, and then they're drawn kind of differently each time like the author is still studying how to draw those parts or something. At this point please please artist person, pls just find a nak3d reference photo (TдT)
If we think and not use yaoi logic isn't Kouichi tall in human standards? In the beginning of the story his friends were jealous of how tall he was and stuff. So if he's this short compared to titans then imagine if he were average height 0_0
Also I've like measured Caius's dick with my fingers and like you guys are right when you wonder how Kouichi's organs aren't rearranged lol his dick is big enough to reach Kouichi's upper chest/heart area when penetrating him 0_0. Kouichi's is never going to be normal so bless him for taking that dick.
Also I hope by some magic they'll have children together because they're a cute couple and that would be so adorable.
If Kouchi were to have been a Titan, then he'd be close to Caius in size. The first chapter shows us that, in the human world, Kouchi's pretty above average. He's tall, well-built, and has a big dick - dude's envy him, although he gets flustered. Caius, too, is also bigger than the average Titan. Kouchi briefly mentions this when he saw him sleeping - his feet were hanging off the end and the sheets were too short to cover him.
Both dudes are above their class of people, so it'd make sense that Kouchi would match pretty well with Caius should he have been a Titan. Or he could still be pretty small, there just wouldn't be much of a struggle fitting Caius inside of him.
I left a comment on this manga 4 years ago and the chapters are barely moving the plot. There's that thing with Kouchi's mark on his stomach area too that maybe implies he can get pregnant that I kind of want cause it'd be cute to see. The problem is that I think the author is used to drawing only porn and doesn't know how to pace the story well, maybe like they don't really know what to do with the plot? I still like the ideas in it but I think the author is as lost as we are about the story sometimes (/TДT)/ or at least if they do know they've just been doing it too slow, my great grandchildren will be born by the time it's finished (/TДT)
