the main character wasn't instantly ok with himself. I think the biggest problem I have ever had with a BL was that every guy was like "omg I love guys! I shall sing it to the world!" This story didn't do that. The poor guy struggles with the social stigma that loving guys has. It makes his story seem so much more real and the ending so much more fullfilling.
I hated the third chapter. It's too sad and heart-breaking. Takahiko was obviously in love with Takumi since they met, and until the end, it was never clearly exposed that they got monogamously together, so he probably just kept suffering in silence.
for me it was clear that in the end it was a monogamous relationship. The moment Takumi went back to their apartment and said "i quit", i believe he meant he quits girls. To begin with he was a playboy who just did it with any girls and got into trouble because of it but felt like it was normal to sleep with girls. Takahiko knew that which is why it didnt bother him knowing that Takumi slept around since it didnt have any meaning. The moment Takumi went back and hugged him, Takahiko hesitated a moment because Takumi was basically saying i just want you now... which means his waiting paid off and he finally got the one he wanted without coercing him into it.
Really like these one shots
I found it very unrealistic that the uke just lied in a bed for three days while the seme was in the hospital, and the only thing he consumed was a drop of water from a pedal. And his reaction isn't "I'm weak from lack of energy", but "I'm going to toss myself around because I don't want to be alone."
While the seme has to work his butt off for them to be together, the uke just almost assumed everything himself and slept with a guy just because he is UNSURE. Afterward, he dumped his guy and left his guy heartbroken (you can see that in the prequel). The seme is nothing more than an arrogant jerk. He did not even bother to tell the uke about the plan
Ko chan and hiro are in love and then next thing we know its five years later, and Hiro gets together with Takuro so easily. i mean come on its the brother of his dead lover doesnt he feel any guilt? plus, if he was inlove with Kochan why would he spend all those years thinking of Takuro? .he seemed to fall in love way to easily. maybe if it was longer and the feelings grew over time then i would have believed it.
i was thinking the same thing as well !!!
whether he wasn't in love enough with Ko-chan or he's making use of Takeru !!
Someone can't change feeling so easily, especially toward his lover's younger bro !!
"Tsutaete Ii no- is the main story
