The webtoon doesnt give justice to MC and the OG Lloyd conversation in the train in the novel. It was heart breaking and sad at the same time hilarious. Theres also chapter where javier pretended he dont hear them from afar and was crying and contemplating whether to kill the MC because he lied to his master. His loyalty to the baron was so strong in the novel but in tbe end he heard MC told OG lloyd that someday when the time is right he will confess everything to the baron. So he apologize in his heart to his master for not killing MC as hes already an existence of their home/county that cannot be replace.
Yeah, i think another reason beside the time taken to drawing that will makenthe story so much slower than ut already is that, i think Javier in the manwha favour MC more than Javier in the novel. Like- Javier in manwha think of MC as friend who he can jokes around.
This is why i often think of comic, anime and novel with same name as different universes because there's often a huge gap between them.
I agreeee. It cant be help if they want to catch up with the novel. In the novel you can see how much he respect and likes the MC in details so yea the webtoon did great on that but in the novel there were javier pov about MC. The hell arc actually the part where javier learned all the truth about MC. MC was terrified because he knows how loyal javier is to the baron and belived he would be killed in instant.... but he didnt know javier heard their conversation while they ride the train as trial run (javier has super hearing due to God lvl swordmaster)
He has death wish
