I kind of feel his outburst. It must be so tormenting not to get a straight answer. Reminds me of the time when my crush will give me mixed signals and sometimes almost a reciprocating one, and I'm always assuming and theorizing in my head without having the courage to ask for a straight answer. In the end I had a bit of an emotional outburst and i left him terrorized. Seems like he had seen me nothing more than a good classmate and with that i ended my crush era with him.
I'm a new reader and I can't wrap my head around the reason, if there is any, as to why griffith slept with the princess? Was there any motive behind? I'm sure that he didn't harbor any feelings for the princess and i dont see the worth of his actions. It only resulted in him being severely tortured for a year (?) and amounted to his mental derangement (?)
The way I saw it, it was mostly just an impulsive move. I think he did it to get over how guts left him and he just decided to just go for it since he was planning on getting into royalty anyways. I know it probably goes deeper than that but that was my interpretation
Thanks. But seeing how calculative he is I didn't think he would simply act on an impulse. And if it was based on an impulse or any emotions then seriously that's a flaw in his character.
no its not a flaw in his character it makes perfectly sense. Its mentioned multiple times how crazy important guts is to him to the point of even distracting him from his dream. When guts left him he was really hurt and mad and probably thought on an impulse that he had to throw himself into completing his plan asap and acted to haste (he also didn’t knew about the weird ass relationship the king had to the princess)
