From the memories we've seen until now.
Somebody was crying in the dark, surely in that jar that appears on the title. A man who looks like Mugo is comforting him while he's being killed.
Little Mugo said that they made a promise with someone in the dark before becoming gods.
My theory is that eating the sacrifice is related to the part that Mugo from the past said "take vengeance against them for taking away your lover"
and the last person, the shadow Mugo must be related to the jar man
