tons of red flags in this series but i cant escape from fluffy hair ML. red be looking green for me all the way LOL
some details do get glossed over in the manhua but it’s trying to be faithful to the original source! I ended up bingeing the novel for two days last year back when this only had 25 chapters HAHA but this was a really good read!
I usually get frustrated with weak and spineless main characters, even in regression stories, but I just can’t bring myself to hate Renato. Seeing everything he’s been through and how hard he’s trying makes me root for him instead!!!! Even when he asks for help from Kalid, it doesn’t feel like there’s a power imbalance because the male lead is written so humanly—he’s not some all-knowing, perfectly composed character. Plus points bec I am loving his facial expressions fr!!!
Even in the intimate moments—the small smut scenes—everything just makes me gush. I can’t help but root for both of them!
The pacing and writing are so well done. this story definitely deserves more than just a 9.2. At the very least, it should be a 9.5 or 9.6!
To be fair thou, they give reasonable causes to all of Renato's moments of weakness, and he even overcomes them and the narrative posits them as one of the many problems he has to face.. very good writing imo

the way he just up and left and came back bec he realized that it was a shitty thing to do was just raw to the core. he values their relationship enough to not cause a misunderstanding and just went back to apologize bec he cared. IF HE WANTED TO HE WOULDDDDD
I agree. It would’ve been 5+ of pain and hurt while they navigate their feelings. Our man hangun is the hero of misunderstandings.
I know there’s gonna be some sort of twist with Guwon’s personality bec the author keeps edging us with that, but idgaf anymore. If he turns out to be a jerk, I’m gonna be a certified guwon apologist. From now on, I can’t see the color red lol.

How am I supposed to have something like this!?!? let’s be honest even if people have personality, the face is what deaws you in. pretty face + avg personality is a lot better than avg face + avg personality lol it’s like you have to make up for not being pretty enough so you got to be more interesting haha
frustrated that everyone has different starting lines. always wondered how it is to live life on easy mode lol. alas, that is life haha
You don't need a pretty face to live a better life! Some of the prettiest girls in my school are constantly cheated on and not treated with respect, but the more average ones are in happy relationships and have good friends. Live isn't over if you aren't drop dead gorgeous PLUS I'm sure you're beautiful either way
