Each chapter feels so short and I lack so much patience. These and those cliffhangers are really gonna kill me （/TДT)/
So the other night after I summarize the whole ch.38 last time this was updated I was thinking before I sleep and thought what may the favor Cain is asking the Doctor, and my hunch is that he'll leave and not come back.
For sure it did happen in this chapter, maybe because Cain got really attached to him so it means his Gyeongjoon would become his weakness and it would put the both of then at risk most likely bc war is ongoing.
So for me I think that was the main reason why Cain left, but let's see I hope he realizes he can't live without Gyeongjoon anymore and he is actually in pretty much more danger bc Cain is not by his side to protect him at all times. So I hope he comes back soon ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Suddenly Navier is so sad and alone in that palace. I hope Prince Heinley come get her soon. It's so sad that most of the Empress's friends are going away TT__TT
So I reread this latest chapter for like 10 times for me to understand what the hell is actually happening.
So Cain is in the middle of surgery (having intercourse) by using Gyeongjoon's soul and using a lil bit of his soul to heal Cain and remove the bullet (since Gyeongjoon's soul is powerful)
So then it should be a success but the doctor got attacked so the process was interrupted.
So instead of removing the whole bullet from Cain's heart and having him and Gyeongjoon's soul exit Cain's consciousness safely, the doctor got hurt so the surgery stopped;
So only HALF of the bullet was able to be removed, and a side effect of the interrupted surgery is that Gyeongjoon's soul was being consumed by Cain's Consiousness so he started to disappear and Cain is forcefully waking up because of the interruption.
And Cain realized that something was wrong and maybe he concluded that Gyeongjoon is dying because his soul is being consumed by his consciousness so he will never wake up. Good thing before Cain's soul took off he reached out to Gyeongjoon and resulted him being able to regain his soul's form.
That's why in the end Cain said that:
"Let's go back together, in exchange you'll have to promise me you'll open your eyes again"
So in the end their soul's came back together, Gyeongjoon is still alive but we'll never know how long he will be in a coma or will he wake up immediately? And there is still half a bullet inside Cain's heart but at least he regained maybe 80-90% of his power so he's able to patch his sliced half back to his body.
And also notice there is a new character, I'm not sure if Satan's Spy or an Angel
the one who is looking out and said:
"How cleean~, Oh it still not finished??" I think he/she is pertaining to the unfinished removal of the bullet inside Cain's heart.
There you go, hope those who're confused by the latest chapter may understand what is actually going on. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

This did clear some stuff up so thank you! I thought Gyeongjoon was going back not being consumed so I was very confused why cain wanted to go back forcefully rather allow the entire bullet out.

So I searched about "Positively Yours" spoilers and I think the spoilers there came from the novel. It's a little hard to go search bc the novel and manhua doesn't have the same chapters.
But so far I've seen something about "car accident" and the "she" caused it and I think the 'she' that they are talking about is the pink haired girl.
So should we expect something like that and Hee-Won losing Do-jool from being injured?

maybe she didn't know that Hee-won is pregnant but she caused the accident so that Hee-won would break up with Doojoon instead she got a miscarriage? Not sure only read about the car accident. I really don't have much patience in reading the novel and I have to enter a password in every chapter. Also the chapters in the novel and manhua are different, so it's hard to find where the latest ch in the manhua is in the novel.

yes that would most likely be the case. but I wanted to have a little false hope in me that she won't have a miscarriage bc I really want to see do-jool be born. Not just bc the miscarriage will cause a rift in their marriage, but bc even tho do-jool hasn't been born yet, we're already in love with this baby ╥﹏╥
