Ch.40 is kinda ok but ch.39??? almost as if I was reading the raws. I don't understand people defending the translator who did a half assed work. Saying that some people still enjoy reading the chap even tho you did not understand a thing? English is not my first language but even tho I'm not fluent doesn't mean I understand the google translated translation, meaning I did not enkoy reading bc I did not understand it. I know this is an illegal site that is why most of the readers would rather wait patiently or get nothing at all. We also have the right to complain bc no one asked to have seen an update only to read a perfectly uncomprehensible chapter. It's like they literally uploaded the raws here the difference is just the letters are replaced with the english alphabet, but nothing makes sense at all. This is an illegal site so we know that we aren't getting the same as the ones in the official translation, but because we know that we aren't forcing anyone to translate. We'd rather not get an update bc it's the same as getting one only to finish the chapter as if you've never read any coz u don't understand. Sorry not sorry, I can say all of this coz if it were me if I am picking up a project I put my 200% on it coz I know people will receive it. If I know I can't I'd rather not do it at all than half ass it and get bashed then get people who would defend you when it is entirely on you. If you understood robot language then you should understand mine right? Before you come at me and blindly defend someone analyze why other readers are complaining. We are all the same reading in an illegal site, but we never forced someone to to the translating, if no one does it's fine coz translating is hard but if someone half asses it that's a diff story coz no one asked for it. I thought I would be able to understand this again after I read ch.45 but now it's back again like I'm reading the kr raws. No right to complain since I am reading in an illegal site and I know translating is hard but there are people who do enjoy doing it. I think SM is a mutated Vampire or something along thos lines. He's not fullblood nor halfblood or convert, but he's on par with fullblooded vampires (but only like with the high ranking fullblooded vampires like BM) since I'm guessing he gonna kill all purebloods there so that means he's stronger than them. And one thing's weird coz I'm guessing his hair turns black IF he is not consuming blood DIRECTLY from humans, and contrary to that his hair turns white whenever he drinks directly from humans. That would also explain the uncontrollable BIG appettite, and the enormous strength on par with higher ranked purebloods.
I am honestly relieved to see that the author did not go cliché way of how would seungho react to nakyum's disappearance. The way seungho has trust issues and maybe trauma it's natural he'd always guard himself and would never experience "normal"

Not all ML's are heroes some are bipolar with daddy issues. they're not perfect and not just the weaker characters have the right to be traumatized.
What a pity the author chose to depict a two chapters long rape scene just to prove a point Seungho felt betrayed in his feelings. This is just the unpteenth misunderstanding that leads to rape in this story. Also i don't know which kind of story you read, but Seungho is basically the copy of Sangwoo (replace daddy issues with mommy issues) so he is not even that original to begin with

They're not normal but what I'm saying is here the time period of this story's setting really depicts how unlawful and abusive everything is when it comes to social standing. And that's what I'm getting at, SH's emotions fueled by his rage and mental instability led him to rape Nakyum, and if SW's time period already has humanity aware of mental health issues and trying to improve it, SH's time period only has dumb people running around confused. SH and SW were the same but different at the same time so I wouldn't say SH is a copy of sangwoo yet coz he only fuck people but he doesn't go around kidnapping whoever he fancies then kill em for fun; and I am not the author but it's not only the rape scene but most of the sex scenes in general were prolonged with more than 1 chapter but I think the author just wanted to stretch the scene out to emphasize the severity of the situation *eye roll to the author*
You can create an intense, angsty scene even without showing all the details and sex positions. I don't think we should always use the excuse of the setting. Not all the nobles were like Seungho, he is cruel even for their standards and dismissing Sangwoo's mental illness only because in our era there is a bigger awareness is wrong, because actually KS represents Korean society where mental illnesses are stigmatised and family abuse is ignored for the sake of keeping appearances
Yeah I know that is why I just thought maybe the author *wants* to *emphasize* something but on second thought it's always the sex scenes that are longer than a chapter, so maybe he did just that with the rape scene *draw the whole chapter then chop it of and just make it to be continued* . And I am not actually dismissing Sangwoo's mental illness bc his were severe and overall psychotic. I just mentioned the setting bc most of the dramas, manhuas, and movies I've watched with the same setting were always *If you are a noble it is okay if you killed someone lesser than you bc you are of noble blood and you killed a commoner* type of thing. Blood, Nobility, and Honor are all too important that if you have a gay son I can just imagine what SH's father did to him for him to grow up and lead a life like that. In KS setting if SW was caught early on he'd be sentenced or be sent to rehab, but here in PON you'd see SH slashing necks and having orgies and people would not do anything but stare or gossip about it. So basically it's not an excuse, I was not dismissing the situation of either of them but comparing how would the people and the characters naturally play out depending on the setting. As you've said KS is targeted to raise awareness to mental health issues, and I think for PON's side it targets more to sexual prejudice mixed with a little insanity resulted from that.

But I insisted always cried everynight and did everysingle thing I can like not eating just to save money and borrowing money from friends just so I could take him to the vets until he grows enough so that he's not that fragile anymore. And now I even fell out of love from someone I was together with for four years. Pandemic hit and none of us in my family has a job so I had to grind sidelines and beg fro work from others like doing simple things just to get paid so I can feed my cat. When I finally got a job I was paid so little I could barely sustain our bills our everyday expenses let alone my cat's food and emergency fund. I am so busy working two-three jobs that when my partner started asking me for time and he started to complain that not even sa single reply from me for three days straight. Yo I did not even hesitate to remove him from my life. I won't be entertaining distractions and those who're treating "my problem" as light. What I need is something that could feed my cat. and could always take him to the vet whenever he's sick. I'll dump even those who I've planned my future with. So I TOTALLY understand him, I totally get why he also does not want to talk to ML about it. Currently he is fine but just three weeks ago he has trouble going. I always worry because I always make sure he drinks plenty of water and to soften up his kibbles before giving it to him. He's like a ticking time bomb sometimes he goes and blood would be on his litter so I am always on alert and goes on panic.
