Idk what it is but I get the feeling that neither Kazuha nor Rei are the hosts. That other personality that sits in the background seems to be the main one and I think he’s sitting back and allowing each of his alters to get a chance to shine through and fulfill their purpose due to the fact that it was the reason they were created. I think he knows that someday, after they all get what they want, they’ll leave so he lets them.
I’m thinking the same thing, I do think it’s very possible Rei is the host too but I’m kind of leaning towards the one in the background. Especially since he’s the one who guides the other personalities

Idk if I’m right about this but Asians are usually called yellow people (it’s a bit derogatory) but him being an Asian that grew up with a European or “white” culture means that to them, he’s basically a glorified white boy with yellow skin. Yes that is what the term banana means! That's why banana has such a huge prominence in this fic because of the two cultures being presented in different forms by the Koreans who grew up there vs the international students.
