I love the FL, she is rational, but realistic, really smart, a GREAT character. The ML ruins the whole story. Like at least don't make them a couple for God's sake.
I hope that all the girlies in this comment's section who find hot his rapist behaviour stay safe. A man like him can really ruin our lives in a matter of seconds so,no, im never going to romanticize r*pists, not even in fiction.
Not gonna lie, Im getting SO tired of shitty MLs making those women miserable just because they are "traumatized". Such a typical male behavior, but knowing they are going to end up together at the end is so infuriating. Like let her live her own life and kys you asshole.
And I don't like how in those type of manwha historical contest is done so poorly
The webtoon talks about harassment, r*pe and feminicide and y'all are obsessed by a fucking ship (a disgusting one)? So obsessed that it makes you keep harassing the poor author??? Romance has never been the point of this webtoon and it should never be when the male character y'all are obsessed with is a Ted Buddy 2.0.
That beautiful lady must abort the baby like immediately.
Going from a shitty family to a bastard boyfriend/baby daddy isn't going to free her from anything...I hope she opens her eyes soon T_T
Anyway Ian is pretty as always <3
How is abortion a solution? She loves him, she loves the child. He loves her, he loves the child and is ready to leave if it puts them in danger. He’s not some trash mistreating her. He made questionable decisions and they’re trying to make it out in time. Killing the child they’re both looking forward to just because he doesn’t fully have his shxt together is no reason to abort a child.
Sis bfr he is too deep in that shit to get out, like in the previous chap HE TOOK MONEY from that gangster...how is he going repay him? Robbing again his fucking cousin? Stealing from his sister and mother?
And she wants to raise the child with him, so ,no, him leaving is out of question for her.
So yes, birthing a child in an environment where she/he isn't SAFE to live is SELFISH and fucking DUMB.
I’m just going to answer you both:
I find the concept of advising someone, especially adults, to have an abortion when they have a child they’re both looking forward to, simply appalling. Especially when we live in a society where you can adopt, foster or raise a child on your own. It’d be one thing if they didn’t want to parent the child or were still debating the idea, but they both want to have it and are eager to just get away. I’m not pretending that the choices made along the way are worth standing by, but doing all they can to deal with the consequences is simply the path they’re on.
And opinions change. She might be willing to stand by him now because he’s the one she’s seeing before her eyes and he’s the one she loves. However she can also decide to do things differently if their situation is still dire once the child is born. That’s something that does happen quite often. She can also choose to abort. That’s fine. It’s really the suggestion thrown out there as if it’s a natural decision to make that threw me off.
I can't blame the commoners for wanting her dead. She is a treat to their fight, whatever she is good or bad doesn't matter because she can used as a puppet by other nobles.
She already asked for a divorce, she wants to leave. She is quite literally being held captive and slowly being psychologically tortured. The commoners/nobility on the “revolutionary” side who prey upon her whether directly or indirectly are nothing but the different side of the same coin.
Her reaction to what the lady is telling her is hurting her and placing her in a bad mental state because the lady is consciously/subconsciously placing the blame on her, finding a way to free/defend her brother (either or). “It was your piano concert”.
Your analysis is partially right but as you try to see the other side too much you’re failing to see the FL’s unfair torture being done in the name of “revolution”. It will only create a cycle that will eventually lead to their own demise as money, power, and glory isn’t just a matter that can control one specific side. It controls everyone whether you think you are “good” or “bad”. An example being her father from an opposing nation and her abusive husband from the “revolutionary” side. You’re treating her as only a symbol/object and not a human being. Thinking about things way too logically will diminish the value you place on a human being (numbers instead of lives)
As I said, if it was real life ML wouldn't never be the head of the revolution because he sleeps with the enemy. People would have killed him first (I would love it!)
Yes, the commoner girl wants to justify the hatred of his little brother towards the FL, but it's also a way to see how the FL was living the happiest moment of her life meanwhile commoners were slaughtered as animals just because they were asking to be considered as fellow human beings.
It's not like I don't value her as a person, but seeing all the situation from the revolution's side she isn't just a girl, but a noble that could take away all what they are fighting for (seeing how in previous chap that dude asked her to go with him and rebuild the nobility). We see that she's a good woman but the commoners don't.
For them she was living lavishly and with no care in the world while commoners were seeing their own family getting killed just for wanting a better life for themselves.
She didn't what was going on as she was just a young girl, but so was the commoner lady speaking right now to her. She had the privilege to live a life that no one could never imagine and obviously no one is gonna believe she didn't know what was going on around her.
Again, I know she isn't just her status, but my analysis is done by viewing it from the commoners side.
Your analysis is viewing the commoners side whilst still reverting the FL into an object.
“We see that she's a good woman but the commoners don't.” That’s a great starter to a deeper analysis questioning the commoners actions, morals, and ethics as they navigate their progress through the revolution. It brings up an open ended question that can be talked about better rather than repeating that the commoners have suffered so they see the fl as a threat/monster. Everyone knows that.
A better analysis of the commoners side would be again, talking about their hypocrisy as they “fight” for a revolution rather than their opinion that every reader with common sense already knows.
I see that I'm the only one still waiting for him to act like an human
