This whole story is just jaw-dropping and not in a good way. Like I get that this is what the author intended to do but damn I feel like it was just way too much. This guy has been going through years of absolute misery and suffering trying his best to hold on to the little if any spirit he had left but no matter what he did he just kept getting pulled right back into an endless cycle. This guy was made to never be happy. Not only are his parents dead but if he ever did go missing forever or die nobody would even remember him and I feel like that's a horrible punishment in itself. This story is absolutely heartbreaking and I would never wish this situation upon anyone.
