He was away on war that he fought because he thought it would protect his child. He didn't not just pay the child support. He had the aunt report to him every single day in letters but he didn't know it was fabricated. Actually before his wife died, the wife said that her sister ( the aunt) was very special to her and to take care of her as well.. That's why he trusted her, because his wife said so. And when he came back from war, he told the heroine to go back to capital because she got sick when she stayed with him when she was young and no one knew why she got sick. So he had no option but to sent her away abd even in present, he was worried that something would happen to her. And the ml didn't reveal that he was the heroines friend in first life cuz he thought that he would die in war and didn't want to worry her. In the new life, he does tell her after some time cuz at first he was shocked to learn that the heroine was a Nobel and not a maid. He never knew that she was mistreated. The brother also really loves the Mc and he treats her really well. And when the three of them gets a hint that she was mistreated, they got revenge for her and the father mercilessly tortured and killed the aunt.

Don’t take her seriously
It’s not the first time she posting based “spoilers” full of hate and name calling on the characters if they don’t fall into her too high standards.

The story is cute, the father, brother and ML are cute and care about FL a lot and take her opinions and thoughts seriously.

Also, I suggest not believing everything people say especially when it’s sounds extremely biased and full of abusing language. That kind of language shouldn’t be used when talking a story especially when giving spoilers (which in the base line should be as unbiased as possible)
I get being angry about something but being that angry about a fictional story to the point of using such language is concerning, and also the need to lie in the spoilers to paint a false narrative on an very good story is not very good.
Idk which story mrsherb read, but it was not “talented baby squirrel” at all, since the narrative she trying to make is the complete opposite of what reality shows in the story.
