Oh my gosh I'm so glad this is back! I was freaking out cause of how it ended in that last chapter, but I glad to see Shuri and her family fighting back.
I've been saying this for years. Get rid of the nobility! They're all nothing but trouble! Making me deal with your mess as a hostage. Like come on. I get it, the prince has a "plan" but his side of the war killed her father and vice versa. That's why I hate war. I ain't marrying or falling in love with the enemy. Period!

Okay I'm liking this so far, and I did read the spoilers so I guess I'm in for a good one. In my opinion, I don't really like the princess, it's obvious what she's trying to do. There's a word for girls like her but I'm keeping it to myself since I won't sink that low. Can't wait to see more
Everytime a new chapter comes out I'm amazed at the art. It's phenomenal
Like I was getting with Karina for wanting to be single, but what makes me mad is someone questioning whether that's true or not. Like I want to be single, what's so hard to understand about that...sorry I'm ranting cause I'm dealing with the same thing.
I'm glad the two of then straightened things out, and they parted ways. Seems bitter sweet but I'm happy they didn't get back together...that is unless they meet again in the future and do get back together, in which case I might be salty about, but eh, it is what it is
I feel kind of conflicted. I'm not one that cares for relationships, irl or in stories with abuse. For me I would have loved the bittersweet ending, where the two of them part ways. I just think it would have been better that way. But I'm glad to see Heiner come clean to Annette about what happened to him and apologize for what he did. And vice versa. Forgiveness is very hard to give especially if the pain runs deep. I can definitely understand cause I myself know heartache as well as many others up here.
Fr I wanted them to have a talk and say yeah man we weren't meant for each other and part ways... Now Annette stepped on her rights for him not opening his mouth once, I understand heiner somewhat but what the author did now is way too much to Annette
I've seen comments about how the novel is good and would've made the dislike for Heiner a little less than what it was when everyone first started this story. I mean I get it, but as one that has declared to be single forever, I just think the two you cut their losses and part ways, for good.
So she chose to die because she was just tired of it all...suicide is wrong, but so is someone being hurt emotionally. Honestly I hope this was wake up call to the guy that was bashing her in her other life.
Offftttt its not only emotionally..
But physically and economically..
Her fam is trash beyond trash.. esp. Her grandma
