If it had been another story from somebody else’s POV instead of the Mc, everyone would have hated the mother and called her cringey.
Good thing the author added more backstory and didn’t focus only on their relationship.
One day I realized that the stepmom of another story was not the real evil one, the husband cheated and had the male lead become heir instead of his wives child; all the people that just watched and did nothing and the husband are part and the reason of the Problem. Can’t believe I let myself get brainwashed into thinking that the step mom is the evil one. Sad that so many stories are like that.... playing with our feelings. ╥﹏╥
Ugh... again why are webtoon artist always bringing up other people religion. [I read one where they invented the religion for a group but took inspiration from existing ones, that idea is better.] The webtoon world (countries r) is invented so why not use some other words instead of halal and haram. Same as how a lot of artist write about an oppressed minority that is dark skinned and then later bleaching their skin or give them a different skin color.
Why half-ass the (back) story and make people feel uncomfortable bc they want to continue reading the story. Nah.. maybe I’m too sensitive bc I’ve seen too many close minded and ignorant knetizens.
Still I love this webtoon and wish the author to stay healthy and hydrated.
