I liked this a lot in the past, but the more I read it, the more I dislike the way the author has written the female characters.
Why. There are plenty of different female characters with different personalities. There is just as much variety as with male characters and they’re strong too. MC's mother and Mari are like one of the most powerful characters, and they have unique personalities too. Also the thing I noticed is that there are just as much male characters who focus on love or are in love with other characters like female ones. Really everything is perfectly equal.
Agree, I honestly find his harem building thoughts/jokes and super high standards to be annoying. His arrogance in that area really kills my admiration for the character. (I mean I still like him 90% of the time)
Also agree that the girls in this are also a bit off as well. They just subtly seem to flock around the mc. Like their personality and character are like 99% great but that 1% consist of them (subtly)falling for MC for weird reasons. Like that neighbour girl likes him for no god damn reason and flock around him just for him to arrogantly say you're not my type.
And random female employees take an interest for him, just for him to belittle them in his mind and say "I have woman problems".
Like wtf author-nim. Is this some kind of degradation fetish? Like feeling big on being able to say "haha, you like me but I have 0 interest in you" idk then the author throws in random gay bait with kinam as if to even out his attitude towards women. Cuz MC has the chance to say "I'm not gay bro"
Yeah, even if he’s joking, it’s not funny! I really really like him otherwise, but those jokes throw me off. I'm not surprised that female characters flock to him, that’s usually the case in those kind of stories, but the way he rejects them is just not it. Honestly I used to think he was only joking, but the more I read, the more I think he’s not entirely joking.
Cute, but bland and kinda rushed. Something that would have helped a lot was if we saw more interactions with the two. But manga like these have to be short so we can only see so much :(
It just felt like it was missing something. I really liked the side story with the old man in the bookstore though. That was super cute :]
Mm, I like the manhwa, but there's something off about it that makes me not want to keep reading. Probably gonna drop, but it's not that bad.
Ify ngl I kinda want to drop this, but I want to know more about his journey although his personality kinda put me off "Singer who didn't sing"
Un.... Ify 2... I dropped and came back to see if he started to sing/make his own music but... even after 10+ chapters... the comic focus on anything but him making his own music... the senior, quiinz, the friend, senior again/raon, quiinz and now his family... at least his family is not unrelated to music, but I think they should've expanded more on him working on his debut album... cuz that felt like nothing chose to the rest...
