How can people possibly be so angry about miyashita not wanting to be the bottom?? It makes literally NO SENSE. He has a preference!! Why should he be forced into doing something he clearly is not comfortable with just so maki can try something out - something he doesn’t even care that much about anymore?? Even the “it makes me sick” thing, I seriously don’t think he did anything wrong - he has a right to stop and take away his consent at ANY time while having sex and he shouldn’t be put down for that. The way he worded it might have been a little rude, but he’s shown that that’s just his personality, in that he’s blunt and direct with what he’s feeling. It actually makes me angry and extremely worried seeing the sheer amount of people that think he’s a horrible person for not being comfortable with trying something new during sex (he literally said he was feeling nauseous because of it, but he should still go along with it for some reason??), their reaction is actually disgusting. I think those people really need to re-evaluate their thought processes and opinions
What bothered me wasn't Miyashita not being willing to be a bottom. We all have preferences and I respect that. But the way he reacted and afterwards when he tried to brush off Mali's feelings. And the fact that the one to yield had to be Maki really just made me not enjoy this couple. You can say that being rude is just how Miyashita is, but he could at least try to be a little appreciative of Maki and put some effort as well.
I understand what you mean but I just can’t see it that way. Honestly rereading it I don’t think he was rude at all in his reaction so I feel like I should add that in as something that doesn’t make sense to me. I get the brushed off his feelings part but I do think it was more just him trying to express his own feelings and why he felt that way, especially since maki had been ignoring him since then - they are teenagers so it’s understandable he can’t express himself very well. Idk if you’re also referring to the part where the caption actually says “brushes off” when they’re talking about maki hanging out with the girls, but what miyashita said about him not being able to do it with them was true so it makes sense he wasn’t worried and I don’t think he should make a big deal about it when there’s nothing to be worried about. Plus I didn’t see it as maki yielding, it was more just him coming to accept miyashitas feelings and not wanting to force him into something he really doesn’t wanna do. I think him not “giving up” and instead being really pushy about it would have been way worse. Miyashita does also say later that it might be possible for him in the future so it’s not like maki had to completely give up and it shows he must understand to some extent what it means to him (even though maki says it doesn’t actually matter to him anymore). But this is just my own opinion, sorry for the long reply lol
