Meanwhile trying to destroy a happy relationship and that would make him sad (and saying that she didn't know it was wrong, like what is actually wrong with you???) and then proceeded to say she won't support them even though she said he'd be lonely and she wanted to help that??? If you are trying to help in the first place so he'd not be alone, maybe after realizing what you did is wrong, support him? Just because he's not normal you're ostracizing them now, and you said you didn't want him to be alone and sad, YOU'RE LITERALLY DOING THE EXACT OPPOSITE THING YOU WANTED TO DO (WHICH IS NOT SUPPORTING HIM AND THEREFORE MAKING HIM ALONE!!!???!??) I read the newest side chapters in the raws and after Jooha fell in the water they got out immediately(so yay they didn't die). He re gained his memory in the water and dooshik saving him is really symbolic in the sense that their first true meeting was him saving dooshik in the water ┗( T﹏T )┛

BRUHHH IM CRYINGGGG. This dialogue was actually a lot sadder in the novel. A lot of Chung myung's feeling in the novel is discussed more deeply, like sometimes when I read his feelings about his old sect and tang bo (Tang clan) I just know bro is super depressed . Is it just me or does it feel like the empress and emperor's love story is a little forced?? I think it's partly because we see things from the MC perspective so we don't get a lot of insight into what they do. But it also feels really forced and fake like the emperor is supposed to be an ancient being how is he going to catch feelings so easily. And I also expected the empress to be more mother-like, she's barely there, I mean I know she's trying to build a safe environment and future for her daughter but she also has to know the mental damage she has done and try to communicate more with her daughter more? At this point it's not really a redemption but more of a throw the MC into a good environment surrounding her with friendly people and call it a day, because at the end of the day she barely did anything to really fix her relationship with her daughter. And don't come at me with the "you only say this because she's a female and not with other mangas where there's a neglectful father" because I judge them as well okkkkk!!?!
Is he really doing it because he's taking responsibility and loves the little brother or is he doing it to ease his own guilt? Which is selfish because you let the older brother take care of him for most of his life and then you just show up and take him back. Like no it doesn't work like that. At this point the older brother basically is the parent/guardian, so what gives YOU the right to just come in and ruin their relationship. Or at least if you do take him, give them communication and also compensation for the older brother because he essentially became your son's parental figure and raised him for all his life.
