can I just write a whole ass essay about this? like literally this story has such a deep meaning on so many things. Especially about the pressure of society on growing up and "doing what's best for your future". And when she made him disappear ngl i started crying and I have no clue why. To see him struggle to be "real" in a place where being free was silly really hit me. They even added the struggles of people who are always in 1st place. The moment you start getting normal grades like everyone else you're not seen as normal but stupid. They expect so much more from you than most people and that stress can seriously be horrible. ah i could really write an essay on this. thank you to the person right below me in the comments without me seeing your comment i wouldn't have read this.
