The art and story seem so interesting but I can barely understand anything. My overstimulated brain can't decipher this.
Great story! Been wanting to read it for a while. And it was worth it. No weird love interest, the comedy is *chefs kiss*, the fact that they made the original!FL actually nice and somewhat important and who also has her own personality. The MC also has a great and personality and I loved her interactions with ML. The second couple was great as well.
But most importantly the lesbian Grandmas!!!!!!!! I need to read like 20+ side stories with them or make a diff manga with them. I was really charmed by them. I kept mistaking the mage for a man but she is def a woman!!! I kept thinking they might be a couple before but the side stories definitely made it clear that yeah def a couple. Ahhh they are so cute.
The art is so beautiful. The artist especially makes the black character so beautiful. Andrew's father's secretary and that assistant of Derrick. They all are so pretty.
But nothing can beat the mains in the looks department. Andrew and Luke have probably the best designs I have seen in a while. Just so pretty.

I don't know why I like this so much. Jaehyuk is so dumb and an asshole. I usually would drop things like this. Where there has been no character develop of an asshole for the past 50 chap. But this is kinda fresh and funny. The plot is not fresh but how it is depicted maybe. Something about it is so charming to me. Just hope we can have Jaehyuk development or an entirely new ML (very unlikely). When is Jaehyuk gonna become a normal fucking person? The guy is so unhinged and gay yet homophobic. Frankly, he should just admit he is the ultimate gay.

I think it also help that Garam isn’t a pushover and stands his ground when he knows he’s being disrespected. He’s also not naive and is fully aware of Jaehyuks intentions.

Did the empress not like Cedric? Like he can read the negative thoughts of others. So their relationship is this bad because she harbored negative thoughts towards him?
Also, the empress is a bit childish but maybe its getting enhanced by the spell cast on her.

But in the novel it's not that the empress harbor negative thoughts about him. The thing that made their relationship like that has something to do with the event in the palace before where they met some nobels, and you know nobels in this kind of manhwa have those I'll intent and greedy thoughts and as the empress she knows how to handle this people like she probably has awareness to this kinds of people but still needs to interact with them but Cedric happen to read his mother's thoughts and blurted out so he kinda exposed her.
I don't think the empress doesn't like her son. From her actions, it's more like she felt guilty and regretful of something that happens in the past and now she doesn't know how to fix it. As she said, Cedric was normal until upto a certain age and she blame herself for it.
So possibly, Cedric might have seen negative thoughts from the empress in the past which made her afraid of him for awhile and by the time she managed to organize her thoughts, things might have turned out so badly that she doesn't know how to fix anymore. Hence, she's jealous of FL who can become close to Cedric
Girl money bought u everything. Ur parents and brother are amazing, everyone is good to u. Am I supposed to feel bad for u? When other than the shitty fiance that was ur choice, u have a perfectly amazing life. Especially compared to the ML. I get that the author was trying to make FL relatable but it somehow missed the mark. Still don't dislike the FL. She is pretty awesome but this shit was just hilarious.
She wants companionship. That's not what money is buying her and the point of her speech. (I doubt the author is trying to make someone rich relatable)
From my perspective, it felt like the author was trying to give her a sad backstory or something for the ML to feel bad about her and for us to relate. Besides, doesn't she have companionship? She had her family and bodyguards and all the servants who were kind to her. She could have made friends with them. Or maybe even tried to befriend someone from outside. That's why I said it missed the mark for me.

She knows she has wealth. If there's something I would get out of her line is the fact she learned that not everyone approches you with good intentions and just because she has money doesn't mean everything is going to be okay in her life. She literally just said money was not the reason she reconciled with her family and why she can trust her guards and maids.
For once that we don't get I self pitying FL...
The story starts off with showing she wants romantic companionship. She knows she has the faithful guards and a good family and it's because of those good relationships, she probably never thought about people approaching her with ill intent.
Honestly I feel bad for her I mean who couldn’t? And I’m glad she used her resources to try to get out of her situation. /lh
I absolutely adore the FL. She is so beautifully written. She actually feels like a normal person. Her reactions and actions are understandable, she is not a doormat, or too overly good and takes a stand for herself as well. But the ML is kinda meh as of now. The issue is I don't see him being very active maybe? Like I keep waiting for him to have more of a presence or something that draws my attention, so I can see him as a love interest or an interesting character even. But he sometimes fades in the background. How come his red-haired sister had more presence than him when she appeared so much less than him?
In relation to Preshati, he hasn't done much. Frankly, he caused her nothing but problems. I also can't really remember him standing up for her, other than the poisoning incident by the princess. FL out here, doing everything for this family and they haven't done much in return. Other than helping her with her business. I kinda just want to see her further her business on her own now, with the Duke's help. Let her be girlboss. If the ML can't be interesting then introduce a new character to spice things up a bit. I really can't tell why I don't like this ML. There have been some nasty ML in this genre so far but I don't hate them cause I expect them to be trash. I have no expectations from them. But I had good expectations from him, since the pace and writing of this webtoon are so good. But ya he hasn't been doing anything and it's really so so so frustrating.
Reread the side stories again. I really want more of this. Will there be more side stories or is it over over?
