People calling Celphi's mom a bitch is probably internal misogyny or they are very young. I mean I can imagine her having trauma from giving birth to Celphi. Like giving birth is already traumatic and giving birth to someone's cursed bloodline that can easily kill u, have killed other women before. I don't know i feel like that also might have played a part in her not wanting to see Celphi. Also the Duke family is good to Peri now but let's be honest they weren't really good in the beginning. Imagine living with that sort of family. I feel pity for Celphi's mom, if she doesn't turn out to be evil and working for the princess that is.
Just want Peri to talk to the Duke and not do this. Even if Peri wants the mother-son relationship to be better. Celphi's mom could still turn out to be evil. I don't know how long the author will stretch this no-communication agenda. Do they never talk throughout their marriage? Will Peri have to go behind his back always to get answers? When will she understand that this might not be good for her or his relationship either?
i mean i kind of understand where she's getting at considering her experience with the family, going as far to say it was traumatic for her. but why did she approach them first anyway... guess we'll know her intentions in further updates

Yeah I don't know but I feel Postpartum depression and just overall traumatic pregnancy could be it and she doesn't want someone else to experience that. Have seen people like that n my god, it's so heartbreaking. Especially when afterward all the family cares about is the baby n not the mother. Maybe that's why I am soft on her. She could also very well be evil too tho. Hopefully not that route cause its way overdone by now.
Exactly my point! That's why I am so iffy about this arc, why doesn't the author focus more on building their relationship and them talking and trusting each other? Just focus a bit more on the relationship.
It's kinda obvious that the Duke isn't the murderer. I don't how the MC isn't aware of the fact cause it is a bit obvious. Maybe not to her cause she can't see the Duke's POV like we can. I think if the author wanted us to suspect the Duke more, they shouldn't have let us know his POV.
Also, the MC is smartishhhh but I feel like she isn't Sherlock smart. I wish one of these days we would actually see an MC (in this genre) who is genuinely smart and can trick people or think three steps ahead of people. U know with the whole mind games. Was expecting her to be smarter as she is supposed to be based on Sherlock in this but oh well.

It’s definitely worth the read, also FL forgives him but she never calls him father or develops an affectionate relationship but he does care about FL and her brother

Not gonna lie, Celphi's mom was right about some stuff. Like Peri didn't think about what would happen if she got pregnant (in the future cause she is the Dutchess now and their relations is real), she could very likely die. I kinda wish she would think more about the possibility of the curse harming her. I don't know, it feels like she isn't worried about it anymore when it's still a very huge possibility. I would actually like Celphi's mom to not turn into a villain. Even though I would like Peri to be Celphi's new mom, it's such an obvious twist. Let her be an actual nuanced character and not another villain.
Also Theo is back in his non-communicating era. Just fucking tell Peri things, I feel so frustrated when he hides things or just stays silent. If it was just once or twice it would have been fine. But he always never ever communicates. If Celphi's mom is actually bad then Theo should tell this to Peri at least or I don't know reveal some stuff. I also think the two should talk about their relationship a bit more? Like at least more on what will be the future like. Cause even though they are together now, their relationship still to me sometimes seems undefined or ambiguous. Considering what their positions are, I think it's not good. Like talk more that's all I am asking of you both but especially of the always silent man Theo.

Oh i like him better. He is so cute. Completely forgot about ML when the 2nd ML and MC were together. They look good together n so cute as well. Also I liked the detail where Morgan's palms are colored lighter than his overall color. Cause in reality tan or dark-skinned people have lighter palms and soles and this artist actually portrayed them. It's so simple but I am blown by this cause i don't see this happen at all in Manhwas or frankly a lot of the works here.
The art in this chapter was better I think. It has improved maybe. It definitely seemed better. Lina's scenes were drawn pretty good.
The characters are so so pretty. I am just completely in awe. Also I am so happy that Luke's d*ck is big as well. Most of the Bl authors like portraying the bottom character's peepee small as hell (not an issue but sometimes it's hilariously small in comparison to the top character).
Also I kinda want them to be switch. They are so so hot together. Absolutely mindblown by this BL.

I just started it and want to continue reading this but I can't read her stupid name without saying it as Malaria in my head. What's up with these authors giving MC's stupid names? Also the male lead seems to be dark-skinned which is rare and so nice. But I really can't take this seriously because of Malaria.
Basically, the same reason why those weebs who made self insert ocs for anime would choose cringy af japanese names, naming a character in a different language with different naming conventions is not intuitive and a lot of manhwa authors don't bother making any research and instead pick a random word
