i'm not completely sure but what i got from this is they talked it over and tan boy (forgot his name sorry) said he wanted a clean slate and to start over as her dog. So i'm guessing that now he's gonna be a part of her "pack", instead of continuing trying to be possessive and like her boyfriend. This is just my interpretation of it I could be wrong though.
