Not by accident they jus fixed it in the right order, if you try to look for it in the chapters before is not there, not even the continuation so we just have to be patient. Maybe this was the last part of the story.

HeY! At the beginning of the manga, the time shown is after their junior high, so thats why they´re older, and all the new chapters are recaps of the past - atleast thats how i get it :)

Thats how I get it too. Jian Yi has disappeared 2 day of high schooll, so this has to be during middle school, but just wondering which year... umm i believe he disappeared during his junior school and came back after 2 years ( middle school) the begning of chapters was when he came back and latest chapters are flashback..i thinkk..

He Tian says they should go to the same highschool so it means they are in junior high. If they were more younger he would says they should go to the same junior high as well. That's why im sure they are in junior high.

Anyways they are probably 19 or 20 in first chapters
And they are 13 in the beggining of the junior high parts (since the junior high school in japan lasts 3 years)
And in my opinion they are at their last years in the middle school (current chapters) so they must be 14-15 yo .
And its nearly 4 a.m. so i should shut the fuck up and read another yaoi manga (sleep is for LoSErS -lol sorry I felt like im twelve again) I hope I help some people in this horrible yaoi heaven (Actually im just so bored and have lots of free time thats why i write up allll the fucking things that i though is related to the question.
