from what I understood from the raws (just the images lmao) the emperor was the red immortal dragon and somehow he developed some kind of friendship with some human who then sold off some of his scales and got rich I guess? ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ that's why he has all those terrible scars. Also, someone said in the comments that he went on a rage and killed humans and so he was cursed by a/the goddess and reincarnated. I think he's grooming up the FL because maybe she's the only one to kill him and end his suffering so that's why he was ruthless idk.
Anyway I don't don't specifically hate him . If ya'll think that it would be crazy for him and the FL to end up together because he killed her parents, don't forget that the white dragon was killed by the person he loved, the knight, and later on that person became her mother. that right there sounds way crazier. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍To put it in another way he actually killed her killer lol.
And also, saying that he's a pedo, idk how that plays out considering that they're both probably ancient since they were dragons and all

surprisingly, i'm way less suspicious of the emperor than Kayn.
I still won't accept a happily ever after with the emperor, even if this is true.
It's fucked up that she has to forgive the guy and live as friends with him after what he's done.
Although the situation with the knight is kinda bullshit. Her reason can be enterpreted as the king(maybe?) Forced her to kill every dragon (either family hostage or smth we don't know)
But that can be plausible reason.
And the knight cried for the MC, everyone can see her regret and also the MC has a new life now as her daughter the knight gave her love and care. Honestly for me that's enough to forgive the knight. (Cuz if MC wasn't killed, she would be lonely either way if the knight died instead)
But the emperor does not care for the MC at all (imo). He just wants her because of his selfishness. Unlike the knight, he doesn't have remorse and doesn't care for the MC.
So I reject a happy ever after with him alive. I'd rather him dead just to make the suffering of the MC worthwhile (imo).
She suffered all that just to play patty cake with the emperor who killed her first friend and family?
