The problem with Tae Seung's defenders is that they deny that he's an abuser and that their relationship is toxic. I would never deny that Minhyuk sexually assaulted Soo young or that he's toxic, that's the difference.
I'm well aware that MH is not someone to be trusted, but I think it's natural to give him points for saving SY's life multiple times, regretting taking advantage of him, genuinely caring about him, etc.
I think it's fine to like Tae Seung. What's not right is to deny that he's an abuser, liar, manipulator, murderer, etc. Tae Seung's defenders think that they have the right to judge those that like Minhyuk. That's called double standard.
These characters are criminals, this kind of behavior is expected from them. As long as you don't deny their wrongdoings, there's nothing wrong with having a favorite character. This is fiction after all.

Nah I'm not defending TS. I acknowledge that he's an aggressive bastard but I think it's hypocritical to see people who go protection squad on Minhyuk with selective memory about the shitty things he's done while grabbing at any chance they can get to put down Taeseung and his actions.

And about my comment on wanting to see SY taking advantage of next chapter — It wasn't meant to be taken seriously. I actually really hope nothing happens to him, but given MH's track record and the fact that he took SY to a motel instead of a hospital and that he's climbing on top of SY and giving him medicine through his mouth, it just seems he doesn't have genuinely good intentions with SY. And if something happens I want to see if these same people who are holding MH on a pedestal will actually condemn his actions or if they're gonna be hypocrites and secretly enjoy the scenes because it's MH/SY, even if it's noncon.

I'm not saying you can't have a favorite character (mine is Yawon), but putting down other characters and their faults while not acknowledging your character's own (like you're doing and I respect that) is plain hypocritical. Basically I'm just tired of reading all the character bashing (both characters) and would like to see people talk about more positively about their favorite characters or come up with some actual in-depth discussion or predictions for future chapters.
