look I dont care about authors using rape as a plot device in a storyline.
what I do care about is the fact the rape is never taken seriously and serves no purpose other than projecting this "romantic" relationship and dynamic that shouldn't exist between the two. asuka continually rapes ryou until somehow in chapter 5 when they "like" each other he is now suddenly "holding himself back". both have such a poorly written character it's embarrassing.
this kinda plot is fairly common, but i am excited to see if there's any fresh takes!! regardless reading something happy would be good right now
