I know I shouldn't let it bother me because it's for the plot but honestly, it's ridiculous how there are always potions of different colors in dumpsites, having potions thrown is ridiculous enough. So just anyone can make potions and they're rich enough to throw away potions even if we say those are inferior.

I think the potions were already bad/expired when they were thrown out. She rummages from trash/dumps so probably these were already trash to begin with and not things that were initially in good condition and was just ignored left behind. Also maybe they were long expired that's why people dont care abt them anymore because it's a waste of space to carry them. Remember she used 3 potions i think for a small cut so just imagine how many potions it would take if it's a bigger injury. And also maybe people dont know that expired potions still have little effect. Maybe they are thinking it's no longer effective that's why it's as good as trash.
Expired potions. Think drugs in our world. How often do you throw away expired medicine? I bet in every village/town there is a alchemist who throws away expired stock. Some failed/bas for sale potions also.
