Okay I've notice that some of y'all refer to the characters by there sex position and it hella weird and gross tbh like you could actually use their name or say their hair color.
It’s not like we created the word seme and uke they r just terms used in bl and they have been used from the beginning. That’s why we use them. Referring a character by their hair color gets confusing because a lot of the time multiple characters have the same hair color. Personally I’m kinda bad with names especially since these r foreign names some of the names don’t stick so people forget them sometimes. Seme and uke is more straightforward. Plus I always hear gay guys refer to themselves as tops or bottoms
That’s because there is no terms to refer to the top and bottom positions in japanese yuris (and yes i know this particular series is korean based but the targeted audience are still the same) We dont say it to fetishize the characters we know this isnt reality. We are just to lazy to type out “The one with brown hair” or their name because we already read enough yaois as it is we get mixed up with the names unless we rlly like a character
Look, we know it's not really okay to mention someone based on their sex position but we don't do it irl. What I don't get is, why do you take it personal on something that isn't for you AND doesn't even exist in reality? The characters don't exist, the author even characterized them that way. If you see someone characterizing someone based on sex position IN REAL LIFE, correct them.
I dont understand your rational Considering you are reading foreign content and pretending their views on two women being in a relationship are the same as two men being in a relationship (Which they arent btw). But i honestly dont care to discuss this any further. You can choose to waste your life being offended at something that most people dont even see as reality. You are literally reading a yaoi about nonconsentual sex and the thing you choose to be offended at is how people are referring to factitious beings smh. Im out
I had to stop reading at 265 I couldn't do it it's so weird he's still your brother!!! You guys grew up together blood related or not it's like a slap in the face to all the kids who get adopted because they aren't blood related. They're still family no matter if your blood related or not!!!!!! I'm so sick of this trope of were not actually brothers so it's okay if we get together
