That of all the excuses, all of the (mostly valid) reasons to not be involved, somehow the fact Rui is STILL A CHILD is not one of them… THEIR WORDS NOT MINE… and it’s not like Rui is “mature for his age” or anything. He’s honestly behind his peers for the most part and acts like it too. The whole SA thing didn’t need to happen, Eiji is an ADULT with a VEHICLE. HE LITERALLY COULD HAVE STAYED AT A MOTEL OR SMTHN. What Rui did was not okay but he’s the one with the least agency. Y’know, being a child and all.
