Mkay yea no dw in in the context of the story they decided to make it so that mana synergy or whatever can only occur through intimate acts, and if someone’s mana is depleted too much they die.
Michael developed a machine that allowed synergy w/out intimacy but at the time the device was not working. It is made clear that he exhausted all other options and what he did was for the purpose of saving the prince’s life.
It may be different elsewhere but where I live (the US), if someone is on the verge of death and cannot give consent to receive CPR it’s considered assumed consent because most people do not want to die. It’s also part of his job technically so imho I think that qualified as a form of CPR and not dubcon.
In other words: the only reason he did that was because the story made him lol, not bc he wanted to. And I think it’s pretty obvious why he lied about doing it, especially with what happens later. Idk just my thoughts tho
