Can we just talk about what a piece of trash his mother (and father) was? Her husband is never home and doesn't acknowledge her so instead she throws all that pressure on her son, then has a mental breakdown and gets mad at him for it, only to essentially have his father force them to move across the world because she needs it (even though she still seems to hate her son). Like, his father is equally as guilty but she comes across to me as beyond selfish and quite honestly, relatively abusive.
I know the whole thing is sad and all with them lost floor master, but I spent that whole time wanting the evil dude to put on a shirt. That was the scariest thing about him TBH, the image of him with no shirt *shudders* #－.－)

Honestly the princess is the worst for me. ML certainly has his bad qualities, but all she does is follow daddy around and act like just because ML doesn't want his son to have to follow rigid rules and (IMO) have a pretty trash childhood he's a horrible human being (not to mention they just see it as "but you get to see him 8 weeks a year").
Like, lady, get over yourself. You act like he doesn't love you because he rightfully would choose based on his son's best interest when you decide that your dad's ideas are more important than his? why do you deserve anything you want but ML has to give up on everything?
Oh wait. Your a princess. Cue the customary spoiled

The major problem with this whole story is the pacing. Everything happens way to fast with little to no explanation of the actual plot. I'm sure the novel itself is probably at least well thought out, but this is just so quick that it becomes boring. I don't know who any of these characters are, and by the time I'm interested in an arcs storyline, it's changing to the next one in 2 chapters.
It's likely an okay read for some people but personally it isn't for me.
Haha he just has all these random girls surrounding him, does he every have any male friends lol. There are literally too many girls to count and keep up with ╥﹏╥
